The Masters 16... doesn't have the same ring to it as the original Masters 8 right? Too bad.
This Masters 16 was way more different... because it included 16 Trainers of course. Many different trainers from different regions competed
Ash Ketchum had won the last tournament that had the Masters 8 before they changed it. This was when the world applauded Ash Ketchum for winning and becoming the very best... at the ripe old age of 10 of course because of Plot Armor. Regardless, he retired after that.
This Year's Master 16 involved a plethora of trainers the names being:
Galar Champion Leon Sinnoh Champion Cynthia Kalos Champion Diantha Unovan Champion Iris Kanto/Johto Champion Lance Kalos League Champion Alain Hoenn Champion Steven
Those were all returning... from the new format we have plenty of new trainers such as
Paldea #1 ranked champion Neo Sinnoh League Champion Skylar Kalos Elite 4 member Crimson Johto/Kanto League Champion Owlwood Galar League champion Aiden Unova League Champion Kit Hoenn League Champion Max Maple Blueberry Academy Champion Kieran Team Frostbite Leader Aurora
All 16 of these trainers. Strongest in the world. Gathering in one place to have the greatest and best battles in the world. No one letting up. This is all out battling. Who would win? Well we're gonna have to see.
This is the pinnacle of Pokémon battles. Champions, elite four members, League Champions, Even a Team Leader!
Like I said, The Pinnacle of Pokémon Battling! Believe me, it's gonna be fun!
So with that let's get into the introduction Ceremony!
Leon stepped up on stage himself, standing tall and smiling at everyone
"Welcome everyone to the most recently implemented... MASTERS 16 WORLD CORONATION SERIES!!!" He shouted
The crowd entirely went wild
"Now This series will be all 6 on 6 Full battles! Meaning for more battling and more strategies! This is the Pinnacle of Pokémon Battling! Something you will never see anywhere else!" Leon excitedly exclaimed "So with that Let's welcome our Champions first who are competing alongside Me! But I have a special guest doing that for me... and his name is... the kid who conquered everything. The kid who achieved his dream... GIVE IT UP FOR ASH KETCHUMMMMMM!!!!!"
Ash walked out onto the Stage, Pikachu standing on his shoulder. Still 10 years old too.
"Welcome everyone to this amazing event! Who would've thought that I took the Trophy last year..." he chuckled "anyway, let's get into the Champions first!"
"From Kanto and Johto we've got... LANCE... Then from Hoenn... STEVEN!!!!! Then from Sinnoh... We've got the Unbeatable champion herself CYNTHIA!!!!!! (Being Genuine here, calling Leon the Unbeaten Champion is an overstatement. Cynthia beats anyone and everyone. I'm sure many of yall went against her in BDSP and lost MULTPLE TIMES LIKE I DID) From Unova we have their Champion... IRIS!!!!!! From Kalos is DIANTHA!!!! From Galar... LEON HIMSELF!!!!!! And finally... from the newly discovered Paldea... NEO!!!!!!" Ash shouted as the crowd cheered nonstop whistling, shouting, cheering, and rooting "And a surprise Champion from the Blueberry Academy... KIERAN!!!!"
Each Champion walked out as their name was called. Neo turned to Kieran after this.
"Didn't expect you to be here" He murmured
"Yeah well... I had to hearing I have a chance to beat you and take that trophy" Kieran responded
"Don't worry, I'll be waiting." Neo chuckled silently
"And Let's welcome the League Champions now!!!! The Indigo League/Silver Conference champion OWLWOOD!!!!!! The Hoenn League Champion...MAX MAPLE!!!!!! The Lily of the Valley Conference Champion... SKYLAR!!!! The Unova League Champion... KIT!!!! The Kalos League Champion... ALAIN!!! The Galar League Champion... AIDEN!!!" Ash Shouted as the crowd went even more wild
"And Give it up for the two who weren't champions or League Champions... Kalos Elite 4 Member CRIMSON, and Team Frostbite's Leader AURORA!!!!" Ash followed up which made the crowd go even more wild
The stadium was Electric and set for the first battle which was set to be... Max Maple vs Skylar!!!
"So the First Battle, that takes place tomorrow, WILL BE MAX MAPLE VS SKYLAR!!! GIVE IT UP FOR THOSE TWO!!! WELCOME TO THE MASTERS 16 EVERYONE! THE PINNACLE OF POKÉMON BATTLING! MAY THE BEST TRAINER WIN!!!" Ash Shouted as the ceremony ended
