As little Miss Sally lay in her bed, she waited for dreams to fill her head.
In her half sleep as she dreamt of her day, she heard a scream from far away.
Miss sally sat up in her bed, and when her parents didn't come, asked if it was just in her head.
Tired and scared she started to wonder, but she soon lay back down and started to slumber.
The very next night it happened once more, this time was a little bit closer to the door.
Over and over it happened each night, as it got closer she nearly died of fright.
Miss Sally told her parents and they took her to a doctor, a simple disorder, not harmful, he assured her.
Sally went home with new found confidence, and waited and waited for the scream to commence.
She then heard the horrible sound, right in her ear, her heart started to pound.
She turned quickly and started to shout, "You are just in my head, so shut up and get ou-"
And she froze, as she stared into the woman's cold, dead eyes……………
