Only a few characters are gender-bent. You'll see that some of the characters are gender-bent, like luffy. unfortunately, I choose to only make a few, including luffy their opposite genders, for I wanted to keep the original story but different in some ways.

What To Expect
☑This is a story that will depict a similar story line to original Arcs of One piece, but changed in a way to fit the modern era this story is placed in.
☑This story is in a Modern Au, where things such as Devil fruit Powers/haki/etc don't exist, but to clarify, the characters are still strong in their own way.
☑Most of the characters are aged down, for example: Boa Hancock, who used to be 30, but I changed her age to 21. You'll be seeing more of the characters who become much younger in this Au.
☑You might see that I kept the name Monkey d. Luffy, but, in this Au "Luffy," it is just a nickname she likes to use, her now name being "Monkey D. Lucy"

What to not expect...
⌧ Don't expect luffy to be a timid and weak girl, I hated the idea of her acting like a damsel, so pls expect her to have the same personality as she does in the show/manga.
⌧ Please don't expect this as some harem fic. There will still be a romance, but it doesn't involve around Luffy. Instead, it's romance between other characters in this book.

Of course, since this is a "modern era." Titles such as "Pirates" are things of the past. In this era, I chose to refer to them as gangs or sometimes a school club, for example: "The Strawhat Club. "

Yes, marines do exist, but they aren't as important here. in this story, the marines in the anime have different jobs, but most of them, like the admirals, are Police officers.

ARCS
this story occurs 2 years after a war between Whitebeards Corporation and the Police force.
(Same 2 year timeskip)
1st Arc▶ Grand-line International High School
= Luffy/Lucy comes back after 2 years.
This Arc will focus on her life a bit more and her friendships with the strawhat and relationship with high school.

2nd Arc▶ Punk-Hazard
= busting a mad scientist.
This arc will depict the truth behind a science lab in the city. And lucy/luffy's "friendship" with Trfalgar Law, a smart woman who teamed up with lucy/luffy.

3rd Arc▶ Rosa of the Red Light District
= defeating the guy in pink sunglasses
Continuance on Punk-Hazard. lucy/luffy, and Law, find out that the mad scientist works under a rich business guy who owns a pharmaceutical company.
Speaking of the guy Donquixote I Doflamingo, they also learned he often visits a red light district owned by a famous patriot of his.
(That's what I'm only saying for now, not to spoil you guys too much)
