13 - Curiosity Killed The Dragon

Time skip the next day

Flare's Pov

I was laying on the wooden plank with it floating across the digital lake, and just let my thoughts roll.

Kind of a new routine.

I then felt a bump as I get up and see that I'm the shore. I was about to just lean my way back to the center of the lake when I saw Ragentha walking towards me.

"Oh, hey Ragentha." I said letting out a slight smile, but quickly wiped it off.

Ragentha looked at me and smiled back. "Hey, Flare."

Ragentha then walked towards the shore, and sat down. "Any new visions?" She asked me.

I look at her almost surprised.

"Now that you say that, I actually haven't had any visions lately. It's kind of weird, but then again relaxing." I explained to her.

"So, how does it exactly work? Dose it say words or.." Ragentha asked.

"It's.. sort of random. I don't really know on how to explain it, but my eyes turn white and it shows flashes of events happening in the future. It sometimes says words. The first vision that I got since I got here was the locations of everything thing and then Caine explaining everything. I decided to keep it a secret in case an event happens which is threatening my new powers in a way. Dose that make since?" I explained.

Ragentha slightly nodded. "I would say that it's pretty cool having disinigrating fire and foretelling the future." She complimented.

"Oh, um.. thanks?" I replied back to her. Not used to everyone complimenting me on something.

"Also, you seem to be floating across the lake for days now. Are you sure your ok?" Ragentha asked worried, and looking at me with a worried glance.

I flicked my tail a little. I then look to the side. "I..just keep thinking about my..family. It's kind of hard to deal with grief for your whole family, but I'm just wondering..would I be better off dead if I wasn't transported here?" I said then looked over at Ragentha who looked at me with an even more of a worried glance.

"You don't deserve to die just because the rest of your family is dead. I'm sure you had friends in the real world. Besides, you have us now." Ragentha confronted.

I thought about it for a moment. "I wasn't a huge fan of friends back in the real world. Also, you really think that Kinger, Gangle, Zooble, and Jax are good at confronting? No, I didn't think so." I said to her.

"Well, you still have me, Scar, Pomni. Besides, I'm sure you had friends in the real world." Ragentha confronted.

I eyerolled. "I wasn't a huge fan of friends. Besides, I don't need confrontation anymore. That'll only make me look like Gangle."

"Well you really let out your feelings a couple nights ago with me." Ragentha pointed out.

"That's because I was on the break of losing it! It's hard to be still in grief over your whole family!" I yelled.

I then saw something appear out of the corner of my eye.

I turn my head only to see beyond the lake, a red door that said

Exit

I look back at Ragentha who had a shocked expression on her face.

"That's not possible. There is no way to leave." Ragentha said.

I suddenly pull out a slip of folded paper, and unfolded it to reveal a drawing of Pomni walking into the Exit door.

Ragentha took a peek at my drawing. "Did you draw this?"
