The rain pounds down heavily on my face, leaving cold wet trails on my skin. A maniacal smile across my face, the corners of my mouth involuntarily twitching up, and I closed my eyes breathing in the wild scent of the rain. I spun around grinning "have you come to flay my flesh from my bones?" I laughed at that and my wet hair whipped around my face, sticking to my skin. My eyes inquired of the dark figures approaching, "do you really wish to incur her wraith " I condescendingly mocked as the rain subsided, myself disappearing within it.
Ellice Pedersen is a troubled young girl.
She feels disjointed from her life in the white picket fences of suburbia, as if she is not meant to be a part of it, the only time she feels true emotion is when she does unspeakable acts, things that would make anyone turn tail and run.
To embark upon the path were she can feel anything is to do what mustn't be done. But when she digs too deep she become entangled in a world far more real and far more dangerous than her own.
When her old life starts to unravel she can't help herself from pulling and pulling till there may be nothing left to recover.
Authors Note:
I am literally the most unreliable writer the world has ever know, I am rewriting the entire book and expanding upon it. I have made the decision to rewrite the beginning because my vision of the timeline/plot of the novel has dramatically changed. Hopefully the changes are relatively inoffensive, and create a more seamless/cohesive plot. I will update super unregularly. You have been warned.
