Soon after, it was the day of my surgery. I was so apprehensed, but I knew I was gonna survive. I was gonna survive for my parents, my friends, my teachers, and for her, for my Tsuru. There was no more fear. The doctors gave me anesthesia and then I balcked out.
I woke up after some time, my head was spinning and I was unable to move. Doctor came in and said, "Congrats! The operation was a huge success." Then he told me that I had to stay there for a few days and then I go home. It depended on my immune system, if I had strong immunity I might recover in a week or two.
I was so ecstatic. My parents came in soon after, and we had a little happy-family time. My classmates came after two days along with 2 of my club members. I was glad, but deep down my eyes were searching for those almond sun-kissed eyes, those melted chocolate coloured hair, that smile sweeter than honey and that face as glowing as stars.
I was at home after some time, still waiting for Tsuru at the windows. "God Dang it! I don't even have her contact number", I whispered to myself. I was anxious and the anticipation was killing me inside. I figured out her address, somehow from the school office, and went to her house. But I guess fate had some other plans.
