I woke up tired after staying late last night again
" I shouldn't have stayed late to read the mythology book. Well at least it's useful. So let's have no regret " I said to myself waking up to fresh up
I came out of my room to see all of the girls sitting in the couches and discussing something while finnely cooked us breakfast.
"Hey you woke up " Finnely brought their attention towards me
" Hey guys,what are y'all talking about " I asked sitting with them on the couch.
" Of course it's about the upcoming masquerade dance" Paige said looking at me excited
Here's the thing, I just came to brookhaven and I lived in a countryside and was in that school since I was a kid. So the masquerade ball is something that I am clueless about.
Seeing my clueless face cleo looked at me " You do know about the ball right..? " She asked
I was still clueless, they got the gist of it that I definitely didn't know about the masquerade ball
" No way, I can't believe you don't about the masquerade ball!! " Cleo screamed and the others looked at me like I committed a crime.
" Uh.. Guys why are you looking at me like that " I said because they kept staring at me.
" Why!? You literally don't know the greatest ball of the month!! " Cleo said as she came and sat beside me.
" What really?? " I asked curious
" Of course since you absolutely clueless we'll fill you in " Paige said
" The masquerade ball at the mystic havens academy is one of the many balls they conduct. The ball is to celebrate Halloween, they dress up for Halloween but a bit fancy " Finnely said bringing our breakfast to the couch.
" Yes! It's always fun in these events, it's our favourite event conducted by the school if you couldn't notice " Paige said
"What!? You guys conduct a ball for Halloween" I asked amazed
" Of course one of the many reasons to join mystic havens academy " Ray said munching on her food
" Also don't forget the food " Cleo said
" Ah of course cleo always goes to the ball organized for the food there "ray said laughing
" Hey, I also love that it's a masquerade ball, rather than the normal ball"cleo said making us laugh even more
" Well if there is a ball wouldn't there be dates?? " I asked
" Well of course but we didn't go with anyone last year or the year before that " Paige said
" Well guys, I can see that's someones going on a date with someone this year " Yuna said eyeing cleo
" What no way cleo, what!? And you didn't tell us" Ray asked interested on what's happening
" What! No way he would ask me and you shut your mouths yuna " She said giving yuna a death glare.
" I have noticed something between someone particular cleo" Said finnely
" Wait are we the only one kept in the dark" Paige said pointing at me and ray.
" Guys it's nothing-" Before she could say anymore yuna started talking in between
"What's nothing is there is something going on between cleo and the new students max Anderson" Yuna said smirking at cleo
" What the new guy!?? How come we don't know " The two including me gasped at the news.
