the issue with falling in love
at such a young age,
is that a 15 year old cannot seem
to love another human being
without basing their own worth
and their own happiness on them.
if they love you back,
you love yourself.
you are the happiest you've ever been.
if they ghost you,
leaving you wondering what you could
have done wrong.
your self esteem suddenly drops,
and your happy speak is automatically gone.
