You walked away, a part of me stirred,
A flicker of excitement for a new chapter, I inferred.
Thinking I could find someone to adore,
Happiness awaiting, that's what I swore. The plan was to prove I didn't need you,
Life could be grander, a different view.
The truth, however, took an unexpected turn,
Loneliness persists, a hard lesson to learn. The chance to find someone who sees me as pretty,
Yet here I stand, still lonely, what a pity.
Your departure opened doors, it's true,
But the void you left, nothing could subdue.I thought new love would heal the ache,
A fresh start, a different path to take.
Yet, loneliness lingers, an unwelcome guest,
A truth I grapple with, a silent quest. In the aftermath of your goodbye,
I realized that joy isn't always nearby.
The hope to be loved anew, so sweet,
Yet the solitude remains, a constant beat.So here I am, facing the echoes of your leave,
Navigating a loneliness that won't deceive.
The plan to be happier, it seems incomplete,
A solo journey, with loneliness to greet.
