To late

In high school halls, where laughter and talks sway,
Did you hear about them breaking up today?
Whispers weave secrets, stories unfold,
Gossip in corners, a narrative to be told.

"Heard about her nudes?" the rumors persist,
A digital era where privacy's dismissed.
Draining days, the weight we bear,
Yet adults turn away, seeming not to care.

People high, drinks in hand, fights ignite,
A teenage scene, not always light.
No one pays attention, the adults won't see,
In their eyes, just kids who know nothing, it seems.

High school's tumult, a confusing ride,
Challenges and struggles, feelings to hide.
Then one day, a tragic twist of fate,
She's gone, a life cut short, too great.

Now they listen, but it's too late,
Regret echoes in the heavy weight.
In the corridors where laughter once flowed,
A somber truth, a story to be told.

High school tales, not always bright,
A lesson learned, too late in the night.
In the echoes of gossip and teenage strife,
A reminder that sometimes, we need a different life. But after all, we are just kids who know nothing.
