Helping Hooves

* Location: Emerald shrine; Sonic's dimension. Tails the fox rushes over to help Knuckles the echidna off the ground, Amy the hedgehog following suit. Tails and Amy grab onto Knuckles' arms.*

Tails: Knuckles! Are you okay? We got a distress call from Sonic. Where is he now?

Knuckles: It was that Doctor Starline! Guh. He took the Master emerald and tried fleeing. They're over by sky sanctuary. Go on without me, I can catch up! Hurry!

* Tails quickly jumps into the sky and twists his tails together then rapidly spinning his tails to propeller off at high speeds. Amy reluctantly let's go of Knuckles' arm and turns around to race after Tails. Knuckles sits on a step and channels the earth spirits to heal himself and wishes Amy and Tails luck. A few minutes later, Tails arrives just in time to see Sonic and Starline dissappear. Tails clenches his fist in visible concern. *

Tails: Sonic... Always too fast...

* A few seconds later, Amy arrives to see Tails looking through the wreckage of the left over remains of the robot with a radar in hand. Her eyes dart around for Sonic. Not seeing Sonic anywhere in sight, Amy begins to panic. Tails' ear flicks backward, sensing Amy is near. Tails quickly hovers over to Amy. *

Amy: Tails... where's Sonic?

Tails: No idea, but I do know where he might be. So good news, we can track where he went using all this residual chaos energy. Bad news, it doesn't seem like they're on this planet anymore.

Amy: So, they're in space? How long can Sonic breath out there with only 70 rings? It could drag out and he could turn back!

Tails: No, no. Not that space, a different dimensional space.

Amy: So he's with Blaze right now?

Tails: Also no. He seems to have landed in a dimension much further out. I can't pinpoint the exact zone they're in. I need more of a push, Knuckles should be able to help. Help me get the Master emerald back to Knuckles.

* Amy triumphantly nods in agreement. Tails grabs a spherical gadget out of his backpack and throws it into the air. The little ball sprouts a tiny propeller out of the top that allows it to fly as it scans the area. Amy reaches around the bottom of the Master emerald as Tails presses a button on the strap of his backpack which extrudes a flexible metal claw from the back pouch that grabs the top of the Master emerald. The two take off toward the emerald shrine. At the same time, Knuckles finishes healing and races toward sky sanctuary. A few more minutes pass as the trio meet up between the sanctuary and the shrine. Knuckles effortlessly lifts the Master emerald all by himself. A little less than a few minutes later, Knuckles places the Master emerald back into the shrine which allows Angel Island to float again.

Knuckles: Good. The Islands secure and so is the Master emerald. So, what's this about chaos energy?

Tails: I need more clear readings, but the areas coated in some weird energy. It's similar to chaos energy, like chaos control, but I just can't get any proper readings. I need your help to amplify the real chaos energy using the Master emerald.

Knuckles: Right! The controllers are the seven chaos. Chaos is power, power enriched by the heart. Please, I beg of you to reveal the true power of chaos control!

* As Knuckles finishes his sentence the area where Sonic and Starline fought starts glowing as green particles slowly float to the sky. A few seconds pass by and Tails' scanner starts coming back with proper readings. *

Tails: It's working! I think I may be able trace where they are now. Sonic, hold fast.

* Location: Ponyville; Pony dimension. Meanwhile, Sonic walks into Ponyville. Ponies out and about start whispering among themselves as Sonic walks past, a little curious. Sonic looks around and spots a group of ponies. Sonic tries to talk to them but is interrupted by a massive gasp. Sonic's ears point up in surprise. Turning around, Sonic spots a pink pony with a similarly pink frilly mane with her mouth agape. Sonic looks left to right before raising his right hand slowly, and at a similar pace, Sonic moves his wrist left to right as he waves at this strange sight. Out of nowhere this pony runs off. Sonic effortlessly keeps up, stopping this pony right in her tracks. *
