"how dare we sit quietly, and watch the world pass us by?"
-------------------------------------------------------
Winter pointed to a small café situated between two big corporate buildings. It stood out with its warm, inviting environment compared to the busyness of the streets.
"Perfect place to start the night," she smiled. Karina, Ningning, and Giselle followed her into the café.
Everything was so beautiful and pretty to look at.
Quotes and paintings framed up on the walls, books and plants resting on shelves, fairy lights hanging on the side of the wall, and even mirrors with lights so you could touch up your look while waiting for your order!
It was pretty cold inside because of the air conditioning, so the girls decided to sit by the window, which was farther from the AC.
Giselle went over to the counter to check out the menu, and asked the members what they wanted.
Everyone ended up getting a cappucino and cookies, except for Giselle who got a latte and cinammon rolls. Everything totaled up to $45.
The girls cherished their drinks and their food and chatted with each other.
Winter filled her gallery with pictures of the café and upon learning the café had chocolates, ordered almost all of the chocolates that they had."Are you sure want this many?" the cashier asked.
Winter nodded excitedly and paid the money for it. She went back to the table, proudly showing off her love for chocolates and gave some to the rest of the girls.
"How did you get all this..?"
"That's just Winter being Winter," Karina said and she sipped from her cup. "Thanks for the chocolate by the way."
Winter smiled in response.
It was hard not to smile when the night was as nice as this. Everything was feeling good.
Karina and Winter kept on teasing each other on silly small stuff while Giselle and Ningning were busy fighting over who could pull off wearing a clown costume better.
Giselle would sometimes gently slap Ningning, playfully of course, then quickly hug her as an apology. Sometimes they'd just stare at each other, say one thing, then start laughing until their stomach hurt.
"My hand is so cold," Ningning said as she rubbed them together.
"Then let me hold them for you," Giselle flirtatiously offered, but Ningning rejected her.
"No thanks, you probably touched a sewer on your way here," she teased.
Giselle gasped and gently tackled Ningning, causing them to almost spill their drinks.
Winter and Karina stared at them for a bit, then giggled and whispered stuff to each other as if they were two friends catching up after years of distance. In a way, it felt like that.
Years of training and preparation for debut, they barely had time to have fun and talk about something other than work and practice and all that boring stuff. Now, they had the entire night to themselves and they were going to live every single second of it.
The cashier briefly looked at them having fun and a small smile grew on her lips. Laughter really is contagious, isn't it?
The girls decided to take a selfie to remember this moment <3
