As Woozi walked towards me I gave him a smile. He sat down in front of me and we start talking about his the beach trip his mom is planning. The best part is that I was invited to come along. Another thing you should know is how close out parents are. They are almost as close as Woozi and I. That works to our advantage because we're always traveling places together. "So this year, I was thinking about hitting all the amusement parks on the boardwalks and then we could go to some of the arcades." he said excitedly. Another thing about us is that we have so many common interests. We both like anime, arcades, roller coasters, and video games.  "That sounds really fun. I'm so excited. Whats this place called we are staying at?" "Beats me. All I know if that its some resort but we get all you can eat all you want."

We sat there in silence for a moment because I couldn't think of anything to say without me looking dumb. To be honest, I also thought about us walking on the beach, it'd be so romantic. I mean hey, it could happen. I doubt he likes me any more as a friend though. I really wish that I could get the hint to him without making it too obvious. Then I looked up and saw a sign for the end of school dance, which gave me an idea.

"So, are you gonna go to that end of  school dance everyone is talking about?" I casually ask him. "Yeah, I'm thinking about it, I just need to find a very special way to ask this girl I really like." I didn't know what to say. I felt like crying. I managed to let out an "Oh." He's my best friend, why wouldn't he tell me there was someone he liked. And why can't that someone be me. I know that sounds selfish but still.

We finished up our lunch and started walking back to class. I was still upset about him liking another girl but that doesn't mean I'm just gonna stop being his friend. As the rest of the day went on, Woozi and I kept making awkward eye contact. We'd just smile to each other and go back to working. Then the school day was finally over. We got on the bus and headed to his house.

Since my moms was always over protective, and i've gotten of the bus with Woozi since we were young. His mom worked at home and would watch us. I still get off the bus with him since we enjoy hanging out and watching Netflix. We finally got to his house and as soon as he opened the door I smelt his mom's cookies, bringing back the memories again.
