"Derek-" I cut what the girl infront of me was about to say "Look Adelaide, I really have to go, i promised paige i'll meet her" "but Derek. . . You promised me you would come with me" she said, "i know, but paige really needs me" i told her "is she that important that youre willing to leave me on my birthday?" She said tears threathening to spill, "Adelaide. . ." She smiled with tears streaming down her face, "no, its okay, i get it, i knew it the day i met you, its pathetic really, that i dreamed about you caring for me the most" she laughed wiping her tear stained cheeks, she was about to turn when she called my name "oh and derek?" She asked then took out a ring and threw it at me, then she turned around walking away, i looked at the ring in my hand that says 'Always.'
-flashback-
Two kids were hiding inside a treehouse when i heard the girl say "promise me you'll never leave me?" The boy smiled and hugged her "I promise" then he gave a ring to the girl and said "Here, its a sign that you'll Never Be Alone" "All this time?" She asked "Always."
