Chapter one

Though armaan protested and tried to convince abhira to not go. Abhira still left the house with naksh and kreeti. The poddars were powerless to interfere. Singhanias were powerful people, had business expanding around the world and with powerful connections. Some could not believe abhira had connections with such a powerful family. Armaan was restless, roohi tried to comfort him but he ignored her and locked himself in the room.

Abhira looked at the Singhania mansion astonished. It was ten minutes bigger than the poddar mansion. Kreeti and naksh guided her to the entrance, here stood a huge group of people who were looking at her with happiness and affection in their eyes. Abhira suddenly felt warm, she felt she was at home.
" Hamari akshu ki beti" kreeti says to them.
" Welcome to your home, my child" Natik says looking at his great grandchild and touching her head little affectionately.
Abhira nods her head little emotionally experiencing such affection. It has been long since she received such genuine emotions from anyone.
" Aare damad ji, will you make her stand in the entrance itself. Let us welcome her properly na?" Rajshri says and does arti of abhira, puts tilak on her forehead and makes her step in.
It takes half a day for abhira to settle herself in the singhania house,  Her things were kept in her grandmother's room and then she was served food. After she had her food, she was introduced with each member of her family. She could not believe she had so many people and still thought she was orphan. Not only her mother's side but she had her grandmother's maternal family too and everyone seemed to love her. She met krish mama, cousin of her mother. She met her own cousins who were so friendly and welcoming towards her, in no time she was happily chatting with them.
Natik had enquired about her education and she revealed to him she was faring well in her law classes and also managing her internship. She was suprised when she found Krish and naksh joining the conversation and enquiring more about her further studies in law. They even asked her if she was interested in opening her own firm or working under someone. She was suprised to know that her grandmother owned her own dance academy and it is still most famous dance academics in the nation, it has nutured and given career to so of the emerging dancers in the country.
" When you have resources abhira, you should try to use and help others my child. I'm not doubting your capacity nor I am serving everything on silver platter to you. I am suggesting just as your grandmother gave opportunities all that talented dancers who could not afford to pursue their passion, you also should try to give opportunities to emerging lawyers who wants to fight justice" Natik says.
" We are only offering to fund your law firm once you graduate. It's your hard work which would make it grow" Naksh puts in his opinion.
"Anyway abhira beta, stop thinking this as some favour. You have equal rights on everything which we own. Akshay, Mrunal and swara all have their own successful establishments and it was funded by us only but it was their hardwork which made it more successful..we can wave you the way, it's your duty to walk and establish yourself in it" krish encourages her.
Her cousins also advise her the similar thing, till now abhira never thought about owing her own law firm, it was always becoming a lawyer and leaving that toxic house but now she was forced to think if she wanted something else in her life. Her confusion was visible in her face, " Abhira beta, take your time and let us know there is nothing to get stressed about, we will support you in whatever you decide " krish assures her. Abhira nods her head.

In the poddar house, The silence was felt.
" Abhira bhabhi will come back na?" aaryan asked but no one replied to his answer for sometime.
" Offcourse she will come back, she married armaan bhaiyya na" charu answers. The elders have not spoken about the topic, armaan had not come out of his room. Roohi was more worried thinking how will she hid abhira's identify from her family. But she did not have to think more because to her agony the goenkas decided to pay her suprise visit. Roohi received them happily trying not to show them her tensions.
" Abhira kaha hai?" Manish asks the poddars, he notices the family elders becoming tensed hearing abhira's name.
" Aur armaan bhi toh nahi hai!" Suvarna remarks no one understands the bitterness behind her remarks. For her abhira is one who took away her roohi 's happiness.
" Chod ne bhai saab, why are we asking about them. We are there to meet roohi not that orphan abhira " Surekha says before manish can rebuke her, manisha jumps in the conversation " hamara abhira aanath nahi hai, usska bada parivaar, aapse bhi badi family ka hissa hai woh, usse parivaar aaya tha aaj usse lene. Kitne badi gaadi mein aaye the"
" What's her family's surname we know all the influential families residing in udaipur " surekha asks getting curious but in mocking tone as if she can't believe abhira would belong to any big family.
" Singhanias, koi naksh aur kreeti singhanias aaye the bol kar woh usske ma ki rishtaar the aur kuch maheshwaris ka izzar kiya tha " Manisha revealed.
The colour drained out of goenkas face hearing the name.
" Abhira Akshara ke bete hai" Manish cries remembering abhira telling that her mother is dead. Even akshara left them as aarohi and everyone. He remembers akshara calling him and he instead of listening to her he said she is dead for him. Guilt consumes him.
" Kaha hai abhira, mujhe apni par poti se mil na hai?" Manish asks shocking everyone in the hall.
" What are you saying manish ji? How is abhira related to you?" Kaveri asks.
" She is my granddaughter's daughter kaveri ji, she has the same relation with me as roohi has with me because of years of some misunderstanding my one granddaughter went away" Manish reveals.
" Not misunderstanding par nanu, she killed my mother" Roohi says angrily, " killed my father too, murderer thi aacha hua maar gayi, you want to meet that murderer's child woh bhi same jaise mere maa se akshara maasi ne sab kuch cheen liya she will also take everything from me "
" Shut up roohi " manish screamed at her, " akshara is dead and abhira should not get punished for her mistakes. She has equal rights on everything which is yours "
Roohi cries hearing it, swarna holds her.
" Manish ji, thoda aaram se baat kijiye hai, abhira is my great granddaughter. We will all go to meet her but let us console roohi first"
" Ji theek ke rahi hai swarna didi" Surekha agrees.
" Tum log jo karna karo I'm going to meet abhira. Roohi jitna pyaar de na tha mein Diya hai mujhe aab uss pooti par bhi dyaan Dena hai usse pyaar dena hai apna haq Dena hai" Manish declares determined," I'm going to singhania mansion " He says goodbye to everyone and leaves quickly.
" She snatched par nanu so easily, nani. She will snatch everything again from me as her mother did" Roohi sobs badly. The poddar family looks on not understanding what to say.
" Aise kuch nahi hoga, I will never let something like that. She will always come second to us" swarna promises.
" Jiji we should not worry about abhira right now. We should worry more about singhanias and maheshwaris. The last time we met them they were angry with us for what happened with akshara blamed us for everything. Said they should have never given akshara to us, never trusted us with their daughter. Even blamed us for naira. Kreeti toh apni beti thi phir bhi uss ne hum se saare rishte thod diya tha. Kairav aur muskaan ka tho aap ko pata hai kisse un log ne bhi sab kuch chod ke abroad chale gaye" surekha tells making swarna tensed. She still remembered rajshree's rebukes and insults. She also knew how protective that family was of their daughters. If abhira is with them, she would be protected and safe but at the same time that family would not spare anyone who did wrong with her and her mother. Goenkas were respected and rich families but they were nothing in front of maheshwaris and singhanias as years passed singhanias have become more powerful because of their abroad business and emerging business in all fields. They no longer were in their circles in society because now their circles consisted of politicans and more influential society. She should make roohi understand to stay away from abhira and even armaan from now because if that family comes to know roohi was eyeing their daughter's husband they would not care before ripping her apart nor she or manish can stop them. She took roohi to her room followed by surekha with the intention of making her understand some things.
" That girl has created chaos and gone from this house" kaveri angrily says.
" For now we should be patient I feel. That girl is no longer orphan. We should wait" Sanjay says.
Vidya did not have much to tell but the cousins only prayed abhira comes back they did not want this poddar house to become what it was before rebellious abhira entered and was changing it for good.

Abhira stormed away to her room leaving manish alone in the singhania hall with angry maheshwaris and singhanias.
