"Why'd you gone and leave me?" I repeated
"What?"
"I said why'd you gone and leave me?"
"Because I didn't need you anymore."
I nod my head in false understanding. I reach back and with full force and punch my now ex best friend in the face. "That's gonna bruise. I hope you have insurance. Bye Ponyboy!" I reply at last and leave walking away confidently.
"Your still weird!" She yells as I continue to walk down the empty hallway. I walk outside the school and wait for the bus to come.
"What did I ever do to anybody? I thought she was the only one to accept me for being me. Why did I have to be "weird". I accepted me. Why couldn't everyone else?" I whisper.
"December?" I look up and see Mr. Linkin, the bus driver, staring at me.
"Oh, i'm sorry!" I grab my things and head up onto the bus. I pay the fare and head to my seat. Left side. Top row. Window seat. It even has my name on it. December Waters.
As I sit there, I tell myself that tomorrow is going to be different. No more rude comments are going to be said to me. It's time I start standing up for myself. I'm not taking no more shit. Fuck everyone who judges me based on the simple fact that i'm "weird". They don't even know me.
"Bye Mr.Linkin." I say as I get off the bus and head down the street.
It takes me about twenty minutes to get home.
I walk through the kitchen, head down the stairs, and go to the basement also known as my room. I jump onto my bed and pull out my phone. I start looking through my shopping app to see if I can find some cheap clothes to wear. After thirty minutes of looking, I get bored. I turn on the air conditioner and easily make my way onto the bed. Sleep takes over me.
