Second Chance

Summary -

Rameesha Farooq is a 26 year old Pakistani-American divorcee. No matter how long her family has been living in America for, having a divorced girl at home is a huge disgrace.

Imran Eijaz is a 29 year old Pakistani-American widower with a one year old son. His family wants him to get married again so he'll move on from his ex-wife and his son will have a mother.

Rameesha has gone through enough in her last marriage to believe that marriage is just another word for compromise, and love is just an illusion. While, Imran refuses to move on from his ex-wife to love anyone else and is using this new marriage to give his son a mother.

They both gave their parents the responsibility to choose a spouse for them, and now they're both getting a second chance to marriage and maybe even love.

Follow their journey of helping each other overcome their past and start a new tomorrow.

A/N

Yeah, the main characters in this story are Pakistani and Muslim, but don't let that stop you from reading this story.

There will be some terms you guys won't understand. I'll put the meaning of those at the end of the chapter. If you guys want, I could make a separate chapter with all the terms and add on to it, or put the terms I'm going to use in the beginning of each chapter. Let me know, or else the meaning will be at the end.

Also, if there is any grammar mistake, spelling error, or criticism feel free to let me know. I love these because it really does help my writing.

Each chapter begins with the past which will be italicized.

A warning, there will be a little cursing, not a lot just once in a while, and there will be some scenes with domestic violence.

Ask any questions if you get confused with anything. Other than that, enjoy reading.
