“Ma? How do…I…Look?”
I took a deep breath and waited for my mom’s comment on my white sparkling dress. I’m not comfortable, but mom loves dresses.
“Stop it mom.” I said and gave mommy a hug.
“Oh? Are you ready na?”
“Yes mom, let's go,” sabi ko.
“Teka muna anak, picture muna tayo tapos i-send natin sa daddy mo.”
“But mom…”
“Sige na, pose ka na diyan.”
I shut my eyes and followed mom, I posed. She also loves taking pictures of me, kasi malayo si daddy sa amin. He’s a maritime pilot in Singapore.
Actually our house is a mix-use. Our downstairs functions as our convenience store.
And our home is upstairs. But we also have a house in the province where my father was born, nandito lang talaga kami kasi nandito ang tindahan at dito rin ako nag-aaral.
They keep the store organized and clean for our customers.
“Hi!
I don't know why sometimes I have this social allergy, sabi nila. Kaya nga pinilit ako ni mommy to be in an actual school. I was happy learning here at home.
I don't have an allergy, I just prefer solitude. I find solace and peace.
Being alone means freedom.
She loves talking with other people. She loves laughing with them.
I’m currently a grade 12 student in Wilson Doctors’ University, pursuing STEM…as my strand.
