A nights walk

Meinnel's P.O.V.

I woke up in the morning to see everyone was already awake and felt really embarrassed . I quickly did my morning routine and dressed up. After getting out of the bathroom I noticed a room with lit candles. I walked in and saw there were pictures of the dead family members and walked closer until I saw the photo of a woman looking like an exact copy of Rukia and Takanori . I took a stick ( the ones we burn and smells nice) and lit it and blew the fire letting it slowly burn and I put it in the box for them in front of the pictures. I felt bad . I could feel so many emotions in that room failing to understand someone is behind me . " That woman is Hisana. We were engaged but she died due to an illness." I recognised Byakuya's voice and turned and bowed to him " I'm sorry if I stepped in somewhere I shouldn't have." " Raise your head Meinnel." He ordered and I looked up and could easily tell he was kinda hurt seeing Hisana's photo. " You don't need to be sorry and don't bow to me." I was really confused as to why not to bow to him but let it pass and stood next to him looking at the other family members " I think its time for your breakfast." He said breaking the comfortable silence we were in and I nodded walking out and he followed me showing me the way the kitchen was .

" Meinnel! Finally you are awake I was coming to wake you up!" Takanori said and I rubbed the back of my neck " Sorry I over slept I think all my crying yesterday really tired me off." I said but completely forgot Byakuya was there too " Why were you crying yesterday?" He asked looking at me and I blushed looking down remembering how I compared me and Byakuya to the couples in the movies yesterday. Also remembering how I had understood I was in love with the man next to me wondering why I was crying and the one who took my side at the fight with Narumi. I was lost in a daydream till Takanori pinched me again " Ouch !" " Meinnel you were daydreaming again" she laughed.

Byakuya's P.O.V.

The fact that I saw Meinnel in front of the family members memorial surprised me. She was sad looking at Hisana's photo. After we left for the kitchen I asked why she had been crying and she looked down getting lost in a day dream . I still don't know why I wanted me to be her love . I felt a feeling in me I thought it was long dead and she gave me a warm feeling I wanted to embrace . I just looked at how Takanori brought Meinnel back from her day dream and she just said they were watching romantic movies. I sighted and nodded and watched Meinnel prepare her breakfast . Then I sat down at the table too and Rukia and Takanori seemed shocked " Brother will you eat with us?" Takanori asked and I nodded as Meinnel sat in the seat next to me and both froze " Meinnel you shouldn't sit there." Rukia said and Meinnel looked at her confused " Why shouldn't I? " And before Rukia could answer I talked " This was Hisana's seat." I turned and looked at Meinnel and she looked down sad and stood up" I'm sorry I'll sit somewhe-" " No you can sit here." I cut her and she looked at me surprised . Takanori and Rukia were shocked too but smiled and sat down and we all ate our breakfast. After that the girls took Meinnel and went tho the mall for shopping and I told them to buy anything they want and not let Meinnel pay for her things.

Meinnel's P.O.V.

I feel so embarrassed Byakuya told his sisters not to let me pay for anything and they really did that . We all bought so many clothes and other stuff I really want to pay them back in some way . Right now I'm lying on my futon with my PJs and robe and the girls are talking with their grandpa about something . I stood up and wore my converse as I decided to take a walk through the garden . I decided to go to the sakura trees first. They had so many and they were beautiful . I noticed a bench in front of a large koi pond. I sat at the bench and watched the fish swim around and I smiled. I felt so relaxed right now I could just stay there all night.

Byakuya's P.O.V.

I was in the meeting with Grandfather and he seemed troubled why Meinnel was staying here for the weekend. I explained to him when Takanori and Rukia left that she's the only friend they have and he agreed trusting my judgement to this. I walked back in the garden and wanting to relax I went to the koi pond . As I was walking there I noticed somebody sitting at the bench as I got closer I saw Meinnel and a small smile was visible in my face. I sat next to her and she turned to face me and smiled " Hey " she said and I smiled " Hey so you found the pond" she nodded " Yeah I was bored all alone and decided to take a walk around until I found this place and relaxed " " Yeah this place  really help you calm down" I said and she turned to face the pond since the bench was small we were sitting really close and then " Meinnel"She turned to face me and we were inches away . We kept staring at each others eyes and started lean in until......
