There's a girl in my class who I find interesting.

She always sits by herself either her eyes glued on the board upfront or in her notebook.

She has long wavy brown hair that hangs past her shoulders, down to her back and has these gorgeous blue eyes. I have only seen them one or two times because she never looks over at me or talks to me.
Others would say that I am one of the top popular guys in our school and I've always been confident because of that, but every time I see her that confidence disappears.

My thoughts get interrupted when my teacher tells us about the new science project.
In the middle of March, every term, the whole school has a competition and whoever writes the best essay about a specific science subject gets a price and a good recommendation to a university of choice.

"To make this as fair as possible we're going to do the method we use every year of choosing groups of two. Everybody! Write your name on a piece of paper and put it in the bowl here on my desk." he says and everyone does as he says.

I write down 'Cameron' very messily on a piece of paper and throw it in the bowl and beg for my life not to be paired up with one of my friends.

I love them to death but just no.

I deserve this award.
