"You think Robb can do it?" Sansa whispered.

"He's a Tully. We are resilient." Tate declared.

"A stark." Sansa corrected.

"Half Tully."

"You think he can do it or are you just trying to make me feel better?"

"Depends, is it working?"

"My father learned the truth. That's why you had him executed." Robb hissed.

"I was your prisoner when Ned Stark lost his head." Jaime countered, tied up on the ground, he was still a prisoner but a smug prisoner.

"Your son killed him so the world wouldn't learn who fathered him. And you... you pushed my brother from a window because he saw you with the queen."

"You have proof? Or do you want to trade gossip like a couple of fishwives?" Jaime mused.

"I'm sending one of your cousins down to King's Landing with my peace terms."

"You think my father's going to negotiate with you? You don't know him very well." Jaime countered.

"No, but he's starting to know me." Robb corrected.

"Three victories don't make you a conqueror." Jaime reminded him.

"It's better than three defeats."

"Winner, winner, chicken dinner!" Tate declared doing a body roll from his seat. Cersei stared in at them. Tommen laughed out as Tate reset the board. "Boo Ya!" Tommen continued to laugh. "Okay now this time dont let me win." Tate added.

"I didnt!" Tommen corrected.

"are you sure? Because I know you must be good at this game and were going easy on me." Tate countered.

"No I wasnt!" Tommen laughed out.

"You gonna stand there and lurk mama or are you going to join us?" Tate spun around legs spread as he leaned back.

"Mama, lord Tatum-"

"Call me Tate. We are buddies," he interrupted.

"Tate is teaching me how to play chess." Tommen agreed.

"My father loves chess taught me when I was little." Cersei remarked moving towards them. Tate noticed her gaze drifting to his muscled thighs and wide spread legs before meeting his gaze again.

"What do you know, me too."

"Really?"

"No. But its not suitable for little ears how I learned. Or maybe it is." Tate cocked his head down at Tommen. "You ever gamble?"

"Whats that?"

"I didnt like losing so I worked the streets and bars until i was taking all their money beating them at chess and cards. Really any game. I needed to be the best." Tate remarked.

"What do you know. Me too." Cersei agreed.

"Gambler?"

"Winner." Cersei clarified. "To be the best."

Tommen smiled looking between them. Tommen was too good for this world and Cersei knew she didnt deserve him.

"Shall we play a game?"

"We already are." Cersei counted. Tate chuckled.

Being around Tate, Cersei felt like she was hit by happiness. And a carriage train.

It was confusing and complex and... intoxicating. But left her with an ache that would never be satisfied.

Tate was in charge. It was obvious. Well to everyone except Cersei. Tate marched around the capital unchained and unbound. cersei still thought herself in charge however, she was sorely mistaken.

"Come on Tommen," Cersei requested. "It's getting late." Tommen get up begrudgingly and moved to Cersei.

"Thanks Tate, I had fun, can we play again soon?" Tommen questioned.

"I'm sure Tatum has-"

"I would love to, your mama can join us too if she's worried." Tate added with a wink.

"WOrried about what?" Tommen countered.

"Me winning of course."

Cersei scoffed turning around.

"I think thats a yes." Tate decided jumping up. Tommen nodded. "Bye kid."

"Bye mr tate!"

"He is the cutest! Must get roberts good looks." Tate added catching up to cersei. She snarled back at him. "Sorry hit a nerve." He agreed.

"Tommen is my boy. Mine and mine alone."

"That must have been hard." Tate agreed cersei stared back at him silently. "Being queen yet all alone."

"It was." She admitted.

"You don't have to be alone anymore." Tate assured. Cersei hesitated looking him over and that smug smile appeared. " because I'm a prisoner here and you're stuck with me forever!" he declared, extending both of his arms and giving her his very best jazz hands. She rolled her eyes annoyed that she thought for a second that he was someone that he wasn't that he was offering something that she wanted.... No that wasn't right she want something from him. She couldn't want him in the way. Her mind was pretending to. But it was that cocky, smug smile that made her want him.

She turned around quickly and headed off down the hall. She didn't want him to see what he did to her.

"We will chat later! Because you are never ever never ever ever getting rid of me unless you wanna be a good neighbor and let me and my niece go. And a war... you know? But until then you're never getting rid of me. I will be right here when you need- whenever you need and whenever you don't." Tate called out waving after her.
