Aurelia: The Fanatical Story of A Girl

Introduction

Third-Person POV

It was a beautiful sunny day in the magical world of Elflandia. A young girl named; Aurelia was just waking up from her sleep. Aurelia was a human, who lived among the elves. After her parents died in a war between an alliance of humans and elves and an alliance of Ogres and Goblins. The Elf Queen, Tama'irah, took her in and raised her as her own. Only Tama'irah and Aurelia knew that she was human, everyone else thought that she was a wingless elf. But this wasn't even close to true.

You see; Aurelia wasn't just a human, she was unique. Tama'irah knew that the young girl she more or less adopted after the death of her parents was special, so Tama'irah gave Aurelia a magical necklace that she was told to wear all the time and that whenever Aurelia touched it, it would transform her into an elf princess who had powers to protect herself and others from evil for her 12th birthday, this necklace also granted Aurelia the ability to fly without the need of wings, live longer than any ordinary human ever could, it also made her age slower and she would always look and feel young for as long as she wore it.

Aurelia was ecstatic about receiving such a precious and endearing gift from her adoptive mother, and although; Aurelia wasn't born royal, she was the only child that Tama'irah has ever had, and this meant that when Tama'irah dies or stepped down; Aurelia will by that right become the next elf queen, which would fulfill an ancient elven prophecy about an elf queen who raises a human girl as her own child and heir, and how this human girl would eventually become queen of the elves upon her adoptive mother's death or stepping down from the throne.

Many elves believed this prophecy was merely fake and untrue, but there were a few who believed that it was real, and those few prayed to their goddess that the human girl would come to them soon, of course; completely unaware that Aurelia was in fact, that human girl of prophecy. This very elven prophecy said that when the human girl becomes the queen of elves it will mark the beginning of an era of peace for all elf-kind and humanity, but that she will reign as queen for 20 days before a threat would come to the elves and humans from the realm of Trolltopia, a mountainous region in southern Elflandia, where humans and elves were not allowed to explore, settle or traverse.

The elven elders believed that when the human girl sits as queen; the fairies, pixies and all other magical beings across Elflandia would rally against the elves and humans and try to drive the two races to extinction, and that a human queen was an omen that spelled the end of elf-kind and human-kind.
