Chapter 2

After you encounter the tiger demon your moods are more better, and now you're humming happily. Mariko look at you while you are doing your paperwork "(Y/n)-san you look happy today, did something make you happy yesterday?" You lift up your head and said "Oh, it's nothing I just encounter a interesting person last night." Mariko smile widely like her best friend encounter her crush "Is he a boy?" Mariko ask while looking at you like she want you to spill the bean. (Y/n) look at her worker boredly "Yes, is a boy but we just having a talk(fight) for a while."

You said while still doing your paperwork and Mariko scream a bit "What is his name? Where did he live? Most importantly how do you guys met?" (Y/n) look at Mariko with side-eyed "Mariko, how about you shut your mouth and get back to work please." You said that with a smile, Mariko shut her mouth for a while and she started to whine "Come on (Y/n)-san, can you just spill the bean for a second." You roll your eyes "Didn't anyone tell you curiosity killed a cat so go back to work." Mariko fake sniff sadly "Haii, (Y/n)-san."

You sigh and thought 'These kids nowaday.' Today you decided to leave early because you need clean up the mess in your house and buying some new furniture on the way. After you order some furniture through the store, you decide to walk home. When you almost reach home you saw a women in front your house who have white hair with a pair of dark purple eyes and a red oil paper umbrella on her hand. You walk toward her "Excuse me, are you looking for me?" The women reply "Are you (Y/n) (L/n)?"

You reply back "Yes I am and how may I help you?" The women close her umbrella and bowing "My name is Ubuyashiki Amane, it's nice to meet you (L/n)-san. I'm here to talk about the demon you encounter last night." Your eyes widen a bit after for a while they back to normal "Um, sure. Let's go to my garden and have a sit, my living room it's a bit messy now."

You and Amane are sitting at your garden with western table and chairs including some rose bushes surrounding both of you. It is the first time Amane seeing this kind of garden, she praise "You have a beautiful garden." You chuckle while pouring tea in her cup "Thank you, I travel a lot, sometimes I will bring another culture to here." Amane nodded her head "Oh, I see. Let's talk about last night." You cut her off "Sorry for cutting you off but how did you know I've encounter a demon last night?" Amane nodded again.

She said "We have our crow flying pass your house and it saw everything happen on last night, that you were fighting that tiger demon. We thought about sending a demon slayer for helping but we are underestimated your strength, we didn't thought about you just using your silver fan and a few branches to kill the demon." You nodded and said "Ubuyashiki-san are you here to convinced me to join the demon slayers?" Amane shook her head "I can said it's a yes and no because after all you didn't familiar about demons and joining demon slayers is also risking your life. After all, these creatures all are human eating kind, we need people brave like you to protect the villagers and all of the human beings. (L/n)-san whether you want to join or not is all your choice we won't force you."

(Y/n) face turn dark a bit and she put back her smile "Ubuyashiki-san, can you give me a few days to consider about it?" Amane nodded and she standing up "I will looking forward into you if you already consider about my request, please send a letter to me. Our crow will be sending the letter to us." Amane bow "Have a nice day (L/n)-san." You bow in response "Have a nice day too Ubuyashiki-san."

After you wave off Amane, you want to go back to your house but before that you look at another direction, the darker side of the forest. You saw a pair of red eyes, and you know tonight you have another person to meet.

Time skip to midnight

(Y/n) is now waiting outside in her garden while drinking her tea. She is waiting someone to show up and thought 'Now that demon slayers corps want me to join them, I guess this man who was watching me is a demon.' Suddenly you heard footsteps approaching you, you are very cautious about this guy so you having your fan on you.

Then there's a deep voice ringing on behind your ears "Isn't it too dangerous for a girl like you to be out alone in the middle of the night." You let out a chuckle "Isn't it too creepy while watching a person for the whole day." The man just smile a bit and walk to your front and taking a sit.

You finally saw his full features, the man having a dark curly hair, a pair of cat like red eyes, pale skin and wearing a formal attire plus a white hat. He starting the conversation first "I can see you have killed one of my minion by yourself."

You watch him confusedly "And? You want to avenge me?" He laughed a bit "That's is not necessary at all, I want the opposite." You open your fan and put it near your face while your eyes narrowed "Then, what do you want from me?"

The man just smirked a bit "I want you to join me to become my demon queen." He lift his hand like he wants to invite you. You close your fan and laugh for a while "I'm guess if I tell you to give me some time to consider, then you will using force. Am I right Muzan Kibutsuji."

Muzan eyes widen and he grin "You are very interesting (Y/n) (L/n), but no I'm not going to force you turn demon. This is because I feel something in you, something inhuman." You laugh not maniacally instead of joyous. Muzan was stunned by your laugh, it was like a melody ringing on his ears. You wipe your tear of joy "Kibutsuji-san, I just want to said I will rejected your request." Muzan stunned a bit "What is the reason you rejected my offer?"

You using your calming tone and said "The reason is very simple, I want to keep my humanity." You lied because you doesn't have one. You smile to him and said "Maybe I reject to turn demon but we still can be friend. You can visit me every night and we can getting know each other." You standing up and tidy up your kimono "It's getting late now, good night Muzan-san." You finish your sentence and Muzan watching you walk back to your house, his heartbeat are running fast right now, his face red like tomato and his eyes like becoming a heartshape. He grin maniacally '(Y/n) (L/n) someday you will be mine.'

You are watching Muzan at the window and you chuckling wickedly while your eyes are turning black, you let out your black wings showing your true form. Your voice turning more demonically "Let the chess game begun."
