In the name of our lord, amen.

Several bells clanged in harmony as the wind danced through the trees. A blue sky clearer than ever proudly shows its vibrant cerulean pigment to those below it.

It's a good day, or rather a great day. A peaceful and radiant morning.

Times like these, the children would be outside, playing with their friends and having childish discussions.

However, in this small rural town situated beneath a large valley, are children, who devoted themselves to their god.

At the small cobblestone church, kneeling on the Cypress wood cushioned by only a thin pillow, were those who were dedicated to serving and praising their saviour.

Wearing a black robe, that made them compliment the darkness with several golden and silver antique ornaments attached to different parts of their clothes, are those who worship it's name.

Girls and Boys alike, they come to this small hand-made church to pray and sing the voices of love and compassion.

Instead of playing with sticks, they clasp their small wooden cross while they pray.

Instead of singing songs that were on the radio, they use a hymnal to recite and sing.

The children of this town, are obligated to do one thing only, and it is for Peace to be brought.

It's already 11:30 am, and the children have finished reciting their respective verses and songs.

Around this time is usually their lunch, so most of the children happily clamored, telling the rest of their friends that food is ready.

As they rushed towards the church, one of the kids called a name,

"Kino!"

The boy instantly pierced a cold gaze in the kid's kind heart, as if telling him to mind his own business.

Naturally, the kid hung his head and turned back to the church. But the boy wasn't phased by his decision.

Kino had been in this small town longer than the rest of his peers. He only attended church once, and fromwards distanced himself.

His pitch-black eyes and black hair tells a lot about him.

The eyes that gazed like a dead person, and a black spiky hair pointing downwards, covering most of his face, with each bundle of hair is thicker than a pencil.

Even though Kino tried his best to detach from the rest of the group, one continued to persist.

"Kin Kin!! Let's eat lunch!" A girl tugged Kino's shirt, trying her best to drag him inside the church.

"I told you many times before, Yula? Leave. Me. Be." Kino gazed fiercely at the young lady, but she remained composed.

Yula took a deep breath, and threw herself onto Kino, shoving him against the dirt.

"Kin Kin!! Lunch!!" Yula released a barrage of punches towards Kino, causing him to block his face.

"Hey your purple hair is in the way-!" Kino continued to block the onslaught of barrages.

Yula kept punching Kino while also shoving her hair onto his face. Her light-blue eyes were locked onto Kino's arms, constantly hitting it until her small fists got sore.
