CHAPTER 17

"WHAT, WHAT HAPPENED,"

"Nothing you just zoned for like a minute straight," Sophia told me as if I was a doofus, and honestly I might not argue with that right now.

"School ends in about an hour maybe a good time to go back to our last periods," she added.

I nodded in agreement,

"We will call tonight alright Ari?" Sophia asked me.

"Ari? Why did you say Ari,?"

"I don't know, just a friend my brother and I had when we were younger. You guys have the same name. Speaking of brothers, I'm convinced my brother would be perfect for you. He's a bit under your league but that's okay, at least he'll get a chance," Sophia yapped out.

"Babe, I'm not going to date your brother, you can have one of mine though," I said with a smirk as Sophia pretended to gag.

We both laughed so hard over Sophia walking into a pole all the way till we got to our classes and parted ways.

Classes had ended 10 minutes ago, and I found myself walking outside seeking my brothers.

What I did find was worse. Elijah shoved his tongue down some poor girl's throat. Can she breathe?   Was the first thought in my head.

I simply chose to ignore that instant and walked over to my brothers. The non tongue abusing brothers.

"Hey, did you guys know where Elijah is?" I asked to see if any of them were aware of Elijahs, girlfriend? I think she was, poor girl. 

"Probably fucking some girl behind a tree," Denis said with a hint of laughter in his eyes.

So that's a yes i think. 

Elijah came five minutes later, with lipstick on his half-undone shirt. Dmitri and I shared a glance acknowledging Elijah in his natural habitat. Confused and lost.

In no time we were on the road with, the same crews and cars as the one we arrived in. Elijah had to make some booty calls, oops I mean business calls. I began thinking about how these flashbacks are becoming a normal thing. I remember Luka vaguely and I remember he had a sister.

"Luka we should play tip!!," I cheered, and he groaned claiming he was too old for baby games.

"Ari, we don't have enough people, also you should let your wrist rest," I was happy nobody wanted to hurt me here but I really wanted to play.

"Please Luka, you're my best friend,"

Lukas eyes shot up like it was Christmas morning as I said best friend, before he instantly said,"I can ask my sister if you want,"

"YOU HAVE A SISTER?" I'd only known Luka for a couple hours so I don't know why I was shocked I didn't know everything about him.

"Yes, I'll call her," Luka bolted out the door and yelled for a name I couldn't make out.

We were in some a house, not a home because you could tell people barely came here. It was definitely huge but it wasn't a mansion. I wish I had a house like this.

"Ari, this is Sophia," I heard Lukas's voice and turned around. It was a beautiful blonde girl with eyes similar to Lukas.
