The doorbell chimed, and a mysterious man with black raven hair entered the place. He walked to the bartender to order his usual favorite scotch: The Glenlivet. As he took a sip from his drink, he saw a fine-looking lady and decided to sit next to her.
"May I know the reason why this fine lady is sitting alone in this bar tonight? Mind if I join?..."
The woman noticed his presence although she didn't say a word.
The handsome man took his eyes off her, and instead, he looked at the bartender again, asking him for another round of drink before returning his eyes to her. "Sorry for being so direct. You must think I'm rude," the guy said, still maintaining his stern expression as he now waits for her answer. His eyes have never left her; they are all over her. He then took a sip of his new drink that the bartender gave him.
"Quite bold of you to join me..."
Sebastian chuckled at her remark. "And may I know why it is so bold of me to join you alone at this bar, Miss?" He asked curiously while keeping eye contact with her.
Meanwhile, the bartender was standing behind the counter, observing her and the handsome man's actions.
"...A secret makes a woman, woman," she drank the last ounces of her wine and got up from her seat to leave.
"So..." Sebastian was about to say something but was cut off when she suddenly left. He couldn't help but feel a little bit confused by her sudden action. 'What is her problem?' Instead of just letting her go, Sebastian took a deep breath and stood up to block her path.
As for the woman, she also stopped and gave him a stare in his eye, unmoved.
Sebastian couldn't help but notice how untroubled she looked despite him standing close and staring at her. It is as if she is not intimidated by his stern gaze, and for someone like him... he hates nothing more than being ignored.
'Alright, let's see how this will go...' he thought to himself. Sebastian then raised his brows and spoke confidently with a hint of annoyance, "Now would you mind explaining why you have the impulse to leave after we're enjoying this little chat?"
"Was it enjoying? I didn't even notice... Why? Are you craving my attention when we barely know each other?" she raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"You are correct. We don't properly know each other...yet." The man responded in an irritated tone. But for some apparent reason, he feels that she is someone who wouldn't be so easy to conquer. "Let me make myself clear. I'm not craving your attention. I just find it rather rude that you had the sudden impulse to leave despite how we just talked for a few minutes," he said before lowering his voice a bit. "You're quite the woman, I must say..."
She chuckled at his defense, "So...if you weren't craving for my attention in the first place...then why are you blocking my path?" She sidestepped and walked past his shoulder.
"Oh, you're smart for a woman aren't ya?" the man smirked in a sarcastic tone. "You don't realize it but I'm not letting you walk away yet."
Moran then moved and stood firmly in front of her again; his eyes fixated on hers like his stare was penetrating her soul. The woman tried her very best not to show intimidated by him, keeping a calm look on her face. "Now you're doing it again!" She smirked at him since she found her confidence again, "You're really craving for my attention. Does being rejected make you yearn for my approval so bad?~"
The man couldn't help but grin at her reply for he was intrigued by her. "You're quite the person to talk to! It's been a long time since I've been this amused by someone. But I wonder...is this the way you attract all the men? By taunting them and testing how far they could go? You really think I'm desperate for your attention?"
The woman sighed and said, "Well obviously your actions proved it; if you weren't really craving my attention, you wouldn't be blocking my path and you'd be sulking back in the corner instead. And besides...I don't attract men, I repel men. Never again shall I settle with the likes of your kind!" She gave a dead-ass stare and swiftly moved to his side, on her way to the door.
Sebastian was now amused by the woman's dead-ass stare. She was surely an interesting person and quite the handful for him; she was not like the other women he met and hooked up with, so he was curious to see how far he could go with this woman. In fact, he was rather thrilled about the idea - she might have a strong attitude and ego that he could try to put down later.
He groaned and completely drank all the rest from his scotch glass. 'This woman's not bad...quite the strong character though...'
