I went to our table. The champagne was already on the table. I arrived just as everyone was holding their glasses and listening to Chris's speech.

- Oh, my friend, you're just in time! - she said happily, trying to shout over the loud music, - let's drink to us! To the wonderful time we have together!

Everyone cheerfully took up her toast. A sip of cold champagne helped to calm me down. I walked over to Chris and leaned down and spoke in her ear:

- Wilson is coming here.

My friend rounded her eyes and almost choked on her champagne:

- What the hell?

- I know, I know, Chris, I made a huge mistake. And now I have no idea what to break through.

- Well, he'll come and he'll come. I just hope you don't disappear as soon as he shows up.

- Should I even meet him on the street?

- Don't you think he'll realize you don't want to introduce him to your friends?

- You're right, it's suspicious, but what should I do?

- Nothing, let him come. He doesn't know anyone here... she smiled mysteriously, except Max.

- That's right, Max is here too...

- Ok, calm down, - the friend said calmly, - behave as naturally as possible and stay with him all the time. Because our harpies can get their hands on him.

- I'm not worried about that...

- But you should be.

- Chris, - I replied reproachfully, - I'm more worried about them saying anything unnecessary.

- So don't leave him alone.

Our conversation was interrupted by my phone. Rob's number came up on the screen. My friend noticed, smiled, and returned to the table. I took the phone and went to the entrance to meet him:

- Have you arrived yet? - my heart began to treacherously accelerate its pace.

- I'm already inside, - he replied.

On my way to the entrance, I saw him. He was wearing slacks and a white shirt, slightly unbuttoned. His sleeves were rolled up, giving him an attractive swagger. As I walked toward him, I felt my heart begin to pound even harder. He caught my eye and smiled. His eyes began to roam over my body and his smile grew even wider.

As I approached him, he rushed over like a hurricane and plunged a hot kiss on my lips. My arms and legs instantly felt like cotton wool. The music that had been loud before seemed to disappear. All I could hear was our kisses and excited breathing.

- I'm glad to see you, too, - I said, trying to control my feelings.

He smiled. I took his hand and led him to our table. When we arrived, my friends, who had been busy chatting, instantly fell silent, staring at us in awe.

- Meet Robert, - I introduced him.

- Hello, everyone, - he said smilingly.

- That's Wils... one of the girls tried to shout in surprise, but at the same time Chris pushed her so hard in the shoulder that she almost fell out of her chair.

- Hi, I'm Chris, - she said, trying to divert attention from her recovering friend, and stretched out her hand to him. Then she started pointing at everyone at the table and saying, - This is Alya, Sophie, Stefany, Kim, and Max.

I noticed Max frowning and looking at Rob with disdain. But he seemed to ignore his rival and smiled kindly at the girls:

- Nice to meet you.

There was only one empty seat at the table, where I had been sitting before, but Rob's appearance made me look around for a chair. But he took my hand, sat down in a chair, and sat me on his lap. I didn't like this gesture very much. I looked at him and saw a sly smile, as if he was waiting to see what I would do now. But the looks of my friends made me play along and I calmly continued to sit on his lap.

Strange feelings mixed inside me. I was disgusted by his impudent behavior, by my own, and by the fact that everyone present was watching our every move. It was as if Rob was deliberately provoking me and trying to demonstrate his power over me. He would start caressing my buttocks, kissing my neck, playing with my hair by twisting it around his finger. I wondered what this whole performance was for. And whether he was playing with me. After all, his behavior was incomprehensible - either he was a delicate gentleman who behaved attentively and caringly. Or he is a brazen man who takes everything into his own hands, literally.

After a while, the girls went dancing and I decided that it was a good chance to escape from his arms. On the one hand, I was pleased to be close to him, but on the other hand, his acting was annoying.

- Chris, let's go dancing, I said to her.

- No, thanks, later. I'd rather hang out with the guys, - she smiled.

I nodded and thanked her, because I was afraid to leave Max and Rob alone at the table. After dancing a few songs with the girls, I went back to the table and noticed that Chris was talking to Max, and Rob was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly, hot hands gripped me from behind, the familiar scent relaxed me, and the hot breath on my neck made my skin break out in hives.

- Let's get out of here, - Rob's voice was authoritative.

- Where? - I asked, wondering what to do next.

- To my home, - my heart skipped a beat.

I am not a little girl and I know what all this means. But my plan was not to sleep with him, because I did not want my first time to be with a client, albeit a very attractive one. Besides, I had a job to do, and I couldn't miss this opportunity to be in his house. Then it flashed through my mind that I had been to a meeting with a customer with this handbag. I hoped that the flash drive was still in it and that I hadn't left it at home. But I had to check.

- I'm just going to say goodbye to the girls, - I said, trying to get away from him.

- Okay, I'll be waiting for you in the car, Rob said with satisfaction and headed for the exit.

I went to the table where some of the girls had returned. Opening my purse, I smiled happily when I noticed the flash drive.

- It was nice to see you guys, but I have to go, - I said, hugging Chris.

- Already? - my friend said disappointedly, - well, okay, but next time we'll have to go without the boys.

- You're not so simple, Emma! - Max said, finishing his glass of champagne in one gulp, - I didn't know you slept with men for money!

- Shut up, you idiot, - Chris said angrily. Turning to me, she said softly - Don't mind him.

Not wanting to draw any more attention to myself, I turned around and left the club. Rob's car was parked in front of the entrance. Sitting inside, I looked thoughtfully into the distance.

- Is everything okay? - Rob's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

- Yes, - I didn't want to go into details, lest the next meeting of the boys end in trouble. But Max left an unpleasant aftertaste inside me with his words.

We were silent the whole way. Somehow I didn't want to talk, because I had a grudge against Rob for his impudent behavior in the club. Showing his power in front of my friends, as if I were some kind of thing, was insolence. I wouldn't be surprised if my friends think the same way as Max now that they know about my work. I can already imagine them discussing what a whore I am.

My disappointed thoughts were stopped by Rob's voice:

- We're here.
