Saturday. And it's raining, too. I am curled up here under my comfy bed and was so ready to spend the whole day on the same spot and no one can stop me...A ding was heard on my phone, indicating that a message was sent to me.
It's raining and I miss you. Do you want to cuddle with me?
I chuckled and typed a reply.
I miss you, too. But seriously, it's raining. As much as I want to go there, I can't and I won't, heh! I'm cozy under my comforter.
And, sent! I smiled as I already imagined her pouty face when I sent that message.
Only seconds later, she replied...
If you can't come here, I can go there! Then we can cuddle. How does that sound? Please say yes, jagi~ 🥺
Aigoo, she's so stubborn. We just saw each other yesterday.... well, everyday actually, if the weather is fine.
Still a no. You'll catch a cold and get sick. Cuddle with that bear I gave you for the meantime, okay?
I typed and sent it to her. A few minutes have passed and she hasn't responded yet. Hmm... Maybe she's sulking right now because I didn't agree on her suggestion. But it's for her. She shouldn't get sick. She can be a handful when she's sick, to be honest.
I got startled when my phone rang that familiar tune, the tune I set for her when she calls me.
~I hope you'd be someone's dream come true. A déjà vu of some perfect day. A strange view of somewhere I want to stay
I’ll be far away~I picked up my phone and answered it. "You mad at me? I'm sorry. I just really don't want you to go through this weather and--"
"Too late. I'm already at your house so you better come outside," she laughed.
My eyes widen and looked outside the window. It's still raining out there!
"You what?! I already told you to--"
I couldn't finish my sentence when she hung up on me while laughing. I groaned and hurriedly went to get my umbrella before storming out my room.
"Yah! Kim Jiwon! What do you think you're doing?" I scolded her when I saw her playing in the rain. She looked at my direction and smiled widely upon setting her eyes on me.
I paused and watched her ran up to where I was standing. It made my heart flutter, as always. Even when she's soaked up in the rain, she's always so beautiful and gorgeous.
"Jagi~ I missed you a lot!" Without hesitation, with that state of hers, she engulfed me inside her arms.
I should have been mad because she's soaked up and still hugged me, making me soaked up too. But surprisingly, I wasn't. Instead, I melted in her embrace and hugged her back.
I giggled and replied, "Already? We saw each other yesterday, though."
She pulled away and placed a kiss on my forehead while smiling brightly at me, "I always miss you when I can't see you and you can't blame me."
I just shook my head at her hilarious words and pulled her inside our house.
"Mama! Liz is here!" I yelled once we got inside. Immediately, she emerges from the kitchen and gasped at the state we are in.
"Oh, dear sweetie! Why are you soaked like that, eh?" Mama placed her hands on her hips while raising an eyebrow.
Liz just smiled sheepishly, "It's okay, Mama. I just wanted to see Rei so much so I went here. And I love the rain so... yeah." She shrugged like it's a normal thing to do. Well, she's Liz, alright?
