It was the middle of the night,I couldn't sleep so I ended up pulling an all-nighter.
I was listening to music when my phone kept having a notification, I didn't mind because it might just be something unnecessary, because who would text me in the middle of the night?
My phone had a notification for 3 times and when it turned 4 I finally checked my phone.
it was liam,he said he was at my door, seems weird.
He was inviting me to go watch the stars.
I changed up to something comfortable and went out of my room and opened the door.
“Is it freezing, again?” I joked around
“Not now, your hot” he teased me
“your body is keeping me warm” he added
“Stop joking around!”
We went to the park and sat at the bench
“This would be better if we are lying at the grass” I advised
“That's dirty, I don't want you getting dirty”
“Let's find another spot then” i looked at him
“My neck hurts” i yawned
“Sure star, whatever you say” he smiles and gets up
“Where do we go?”
I pointed at the picnic area
“Seems like a good idea” he said
“Look, the moon!” i said excitedly
“I know it's beautiful” he smiled more
“We should do this often” i said while looking at the stars
“You know” Liam suddenly spoke
“Yeah?”
“My love for you is like the stars.” He said
“How many?”
“Count all the star” he advised
“I can't, it's infinite” i answered
“That's the point,my love for you is infinite” He said and puts his hand on my waist
I didn't take it out,I liked it.
“I am here for you, always.” He whispered to me
“I know” I breathe
“You should” He teased me
The butterflies are back to my stomach.
Actually, every time I get to see Liam the butterflies are always back.
“I would stay forever” He said while we are looking at the stars
“Me too”
“When you say don't go,”
“Yeah?”
I wonder what would he do,so i looked at him instead of the stars
“I will stay forever.” He smiled and looked at me and saw me looking at him.
“I love you” I whispered to myself
“What is that Star?” He asked moving towards me
“I.love.you” I repeated but this time right it front of him
His cheeks turned red and he covered his face with his hand hiding from embarrassment.
I chuckled, watching as Liam tried to hide his blush.
"Did you hear what I said?" I teased, nudging him gently with my shoulder.
"Yes, I heard you," he mumbled from behind his hands.
I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. It was adorable how easily flustered he got, especially when it came to matters of the heart.
We sat there in silence for a while, simply enjoying each other's company. The moon was high in the sky now, casting a soft glow over the park. The stars twinkled above us, their light reflected in Liam's eyes.
"I love you too, Star," Liam finally said, his voice barely above a whisper.
He looked at me, his eyes filled with sincerity. I felt my heart flutter at his words. It was one thing to know that he loved me, but hearing him say it out loud was a completely different experience.
We spent the rest of the night under the stars, talking about everything and nothing in particular. It was perfect, just like Liam had promised it would be. As we lay there on the grass, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I was to have him in my life.
"I'm glad we did this," I said, snuggling closer to Liam.
He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer.
"Me too, Star. Me too," he replied.
As the night grew darker, we decided to head home. We walked hand in hand, our fingers intertwined. I leaned my head on his shoulder, feeling content and loved.
"I meant what I said earlier, Star," Liam said as we reached my house.
"I will stay forever."
I smiled at him, feeling a warmth spread through me.
"I know you will, Liam. And I'll stay forever too," I promised.
With that, we said our goodnights and parted ways. As I climbed into bed, I couldn't help but replay the events of the night in my head.
It was a night I would remember forever, a night where I confessed my love to Liam and he confessed his love to me.
And as I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I was to be loved by someone like Liam.
