You turn around to meet his face, but instead, you meet his chest. You tell him in a rude tone, "Back up." He smiles and says, "Yes ma'am." as he backs up a bit. You finally meet his eyes and state, "Turn the damn music down, I can't sleep." while glaring at him with sleepy eyes. He takes a sip from his drink and responds, "Sounds like a personal problem, sweetheart."
You groan in frustration, which makes him smirk. "I'll call the police if you don't." you lie to scare him. He laughs, not believing you at all, which leaves you with no choice but to actually call the police. "Okay then." you mutter as you grab your phone from your pocket and start dialing 911.
Stop pretending that you're" he stops speaking after he notices that you're actually calling the police, which makes his facial expression drop. "Ay, woman, hear me out," he says, sounding a bit scared, which made you smile in amusement. "Turn it down or I'll press the call button." you threaten him, which made him glare at you.

"I'm waiting." you say while waiting for him to turn down the music. "The door is locked." he responds, throwing his cup on the ground after taking his last sip, looking unbothered. "Oh my gosh, why are you so" Before you could finish your sentence, you get cut off by Jake, Niki's older brother. "What's going on here?" he asks as he walks towards you two after opening the door, spotting lots of students at your school partying.
"Oh, so you're partying too, huh?" you ask, feeling annoyed but unable to resist admiring how attractive he looks with his messy hair and his outfit that's so tight, revealing his muscular physique. "Yeah, what's wrong with that?" he replies, nodding his head in return. "The problem is that I can't sleep, and I literally have a test tomorrow," you respond.
"Sure, angel. Anything for you." he responds and winks at you playfully, which makes you feel butterflies in your stomach. As he's about to enter the house, he notices your revealing pajamas and the cold weather. He sighs and takes off his jacket, putting it on you, which leaves you stunned for a moment. Before you can speak, he says,
"Shh, keep it. I don't want you to get sick." and then he leaves.
"Pfft, why is he trying to hit on you?" Niki mutters, sounding annoyed. Suddenly, you remember that Niki was here the whole time. You turn to him and say, "See, your brother is so nice and he even listened to me, unlike you." "He's only playing with your feelings," he responds, glaring back at you. Then his gaze follows Jake's jacket over you.
"Make sure to throw the jacket after you return home, you might catch diseases from it." he says and then leaves, leaving you there confused. But you shrug it off and finally come back to your place and sleep after Jake turns the music down.
