Chapter 1

People would be having many questions if they saw the scene. Why is a cute little girl that doesn't seem to be above the age of 15, with bright pink hair that's soft like cherry blossoms and beautiful golden eyes that resemble molten gold, shedding unwanted tears in front of me.

To explain, Let's rewind time to a several years ago when everything started

My name is Artecius Theodore, but that wasn't always my name.

I was born in Korea and after completing my military service i decided to become a boxer, going to the ring and beating up people to my heart's content felt divine. That is until I was beaten up to death by another bastard.

It was something I read when I was far too young and kept reading it again and again until I passed the age of 24, my mother's favourite novel, no more precisely a novel written by my fujoshi mother.

Although the protagonist is a girl and marries a man, people around her get married to the same gender. To make this politically correct, my mother added a genre I hated the most that was <omegaverse>

It was to make things easier for her so people don't question about the issue known as ‘Heir’. It was definitely not because she wanted to write BL, definitely not.

She died 10 years ago, leaving me alone, that novel she wrote was to comfort me, it was also her way of apologising to me, because I never had a father. Until her last breath she never told me who my father was, perhaps she never herself knew about it.

As a boy i was busy playing football and basketball to think about something like a father that i never had. So I never really cared about the lack of my father and I was quite apathetic for my age.

I remember questioning her once after the bullying got severe, but she only hugged me and cried, that was the first and the last time I ever asked about a father.

As i grew up, I realised how much she was struggling, being the only parent with no support from anyone she did various jobs, half of them which I don't even know. It was at the tender age of 13 i realised our family situation and stopped being stubborn.

It was only after her death did i realise I was truly alone, that I had no one but her and know she was gone. To a place far away from my reach, I had no one to talk to, I had no guide nor any adult around me other than neighbours that were practically strangers.

And I was already 17, no one in their same mind takes in a 17 year old, so I did odd jobs to fill my stomach, I dropped out of school and gave up my dream on studying and started to save up enough.

Life wasn't easy by any means and when I found out about my talent for boxing, i didn't back down and immediately held the rope.

“Darling? Where are you?” My mother said in a sing-song voice. Right now we are playing hide and seek with my elder brother who was already caught.

Anyways it's not like she can find me on the cupboard, time passed by rather slowly and I was already 5, with a great talent of magic and swordsmanship. It was a perk of being reborn in the same family as the female lead.

According to novel, my mother will die in three years after giving birth to a brother of mine. Then father will will bring in a daughter with him, the female lead, she's the daughter of my mother's brother, so she looks like my mother.

And as any novels go, everyone is taken aback by the cuteness of the Female lead and become Bewitched by her.

But the female lead had a big secret which she never reveals even at the end of the story which is understandable, it's a fact that she also reincarnates in the novel.

In the original novel that she reads, her role is of a villainess, but she determined to change her destiny takes advantage of the novel and gains a significant influence. And just like other novels, the female lead has divine energy and is the saintess of the goddess, but her family that is my family refuses to do so.

It a very cliche novel and i admit my mom does not have an innovative mind. But I am not ungrateful for her efforts, that novel did bring me a sense of comfort, that she was always with me.

“Darling!” my mother sounds quite annoyed by the fact that she can't catch a 5 year old child in a game of hide and seek.

It is only at times like this I have time to think about the future, I am in no way becoming a siscon, fuck the novel and fuck the original story, I will just do what she does and when she arrives she will be confused, since why is everything in my ownership. If she asks me about it, I will just feign ignorance.

I am not that kind enough to let her take everything while I know i could have it.

“Alright! I give up! Arti!” she sounds quite worried. It is natural after all, it's been an hour and she isn't able to find me.

I jumped down from the cupboard and landed safely with the use of magic.

Magicians are a rarity in this world, the original female lead was a magician but she couldn't do much, she had to made weaker than the female lead.

And I am that very magician with much greater power. I am far stronger than any of the kids my age.
