It was a cold winter night, Kaia remembered. People were still celebrating Christmas and were preparing for the new year. Having graduated it was time to work, he was already having a hard time getting one though. And money was tight his only income was from the small bakery shop that his parents left for him. As usual after he was closing the shop and was taking out the trash back door when he heard a groan. He looked in the direction of the sound but it was dark. Upon a closer look he noticed a foot sticking out near the bin.

He knew that it was a person but at the same time he was scared to go near. Who knows, it was late night and they could've been a serial killer. But he threw out that thought out the window when he heard another groan. He realised that the other person was in pain. And so as the kind person he was he went to check. When he finally saw the person he was shocked. This person looked young and had blond hair. As he looked closer, the kid had a handsome face. Well sculpted nose, a jaw that could get the ladies fall over him.

The kid eventually opened his eyes and looked directly at him. Kaia saw beautiful blue orbs staring at him under the moonlight. His face was bruised as if he had been beaten and his knuckles seemed red. Kaia knew he must've been fighting. At that moment the kid weakly whispered the word "help" and Kaia knew he had to take him in.

This was 7 years ago. The day Kaia met his beloved Julian. They were 21 and 18 at the time. Much time has passed since then and so much has happened. At that time he had loved Julian so much, so much different from today. It was truly wonderful that Julian managed to kill this love of his over the years. Kaia laughed at this thought knowing it wasn't even funny.
