I'm not sure how I'm going to tell my mom, Kendra lee Williams, I've never been in a situation like this before. A situation where I have to chose between two of the most important people in my life.

I've made so many mistakes in the past few months. Mistakes that can be easily changed or dealt with. This mistake was done in pen, and this pen was not one of those erasable pens, but the type of pen that leaks as you write, leaving ink stains all over the place.

If you were wondering, I did not kill a person. I could never, but I did create one. I had created a human being. I had fallen pregnant with my stepfather's child. Yes, I slept with my mother's husband. Before you judge me and call me names, I think you should first hear my side of the story.

I woke up this morning at around 6 a.m. sharp to get my stuff ready for the last day of school. As the sun began to come up, I decided to go downstairs to the kitchen to go get myself something to eat, when I bumped into mom.

"Sorry Cassidy, I didn't mean to scare you!" She said as she took a bite out of an apple, "I got up to get myself a glass of water when the fruit started calling me!"

"It was quite strange how the fruit started talking to you mom. It's not a very common trait, you know, to be able to speak to fruit. I wonder if that's even a thing, you know, fruit whispering," I said with a smile on my face.

My mom and I always had this unbreakable bond ever since my dad left us for a cheap prostitute, who claimed to love him and wanted to spend all eternity with him. It took a while to get the image of him having sex with a random person (probably in my mom's room) out of my mind. The image of a prostitutes bare ass touching my dad all over is probably the worst thing you could do to any 18 year old girl like me.

When mom found out about this, she took her wedding ring of her finger and through it in his face and told him to give it to someone who gives a damn. I had never been so proud of my mom! She didn't waste time, and yes his my father, but he wasn't really acting like one.

Anyway, on my way out, I grabbed my bag and the keys to my old and broken down tin can with wheels and headed for school. It was about 7:30 a.m. when I got to my locker to get my Biology books for first period, but as I shut the locker I got a little fright as I heard someone's voice screaming at me.

"Hey Cassidy, I hope your going to my party next week," Said Laurie, " It would be upsetting if you couldn't make it." She said with puppy dog eyes.

" Laurie I'm babysitting remember?" I said.

" Can't you cancel?" Asked Laurie.

" No. It wouldn't be fair on the parents and Laurie, you know I need the extra cash to buy a new car." I responded

" Can't you bring the kids with you?" Laurie asked sounding like a seven year old girl.

" Sure. I'll take three year old kids to an 18 year old party where everyone drinks alcohol, smokes and has a lot of sex. Good idea!" I said sarcastically, "and they're called children, not baby goats."

The elongated, black haired girl with the smallest body and tanned skin is my best friend Laurie. She has known me since I was about four years old. We've been friends since then and love each other more every day.

" Don't you want to walk me to my first lesson?" I asked.

" If you promise to go to my party." She said annoyingly.

" Never mind. Biology isn't that far anyway."
