Sakura Petals [Kurapika x OC]

Narrator POV

"Where are we going?" Kurai panicked. She did not like walking in dark, especially when her friend Kurapika covered her eyes. It wasn't like she didn't trust him, but at the same time she didn't. It was the sort of weird relationship she had with him.

Kurapika led her to the bright pink tree. The light, delicate pink on each of the leaves reminded him deeply of her. Each moment of hesitation made his eagerness fade away. Eventually, he whispered into her ear,

"We're here." The bandana was quickly ripped off her face and to show the collassal tree. Petals swarmed around as they gently swayed to the ground. Every step was close to walking on pillows, light and soft.

"What is this..." Her eyes portrayed a sort of amazement which told Kurapika immediately he chose the right place. It was the sort of happiness that couldn't come by so easily anymore. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in.

"It's a Sakura tree." It was Kurai first time seeing one as she lived overseas. Her dream of becoming a cooking Hunter led her to Japan. She stood back and admired the sweet smell of the flowers. Each flower held an unique scent.

"So do you like it?" He smiled at her. She looked back at him.

"Of course!" Her arms wrapped him in a tight hug. He froze at first touch, but melted into it. He embraced her.

"But, why did you bring me here?" She perked her head up from his shoulder. All of the petals swarmed behind her. He moved closer to her and quietly muttered,

"So I could do this." He leaned close and touched his lips with hers. It was small, light kiss. Kurai placed her arms onto his shoulders as Kurapika's hands found their place onto her waist. the kiss lasted 20 seconds at most.

"And I thought I was crazy to think you would kiss me." She giggled. Her head landed onto his shoulder as they sat down. Silence fell among the two. It was neither an awkward or terrible one, but a sweet and happy one. A light snore was heard from Kurai in a few short minutes. He chuckled and sighed. He really did love her, didn't he?
