April 2015

What Eric could describe his whole introduction to the show was awkward to say the least. It seemed like he was pulled into a cruel prank and it didn't help that the staff were goading him to act more intimate towards his bride. Of course, Seohyun was more than happy seeing him a more formal wear.

"I see you're already here Seohyun-ah." Eric said nervously.

"You made it oppa!" Seohyun crashed against with a bone crushing hug. Eric was struggling for air until she finally let go.

Despite her maknae status, she has been known recently as the most mature of all the girls. She rarely engages in antics like some of the other girls do, she is well mannered, thoughtful, and collective. She rarely lashes out. Seohyun is also one of the smartest idols with a high IQ and with an impressive degree. She was the girl who always did her work on time and never complained.

In all honesty she was the ideal girl many men should strive to chase after. In all the many years of Eric Nam being an idol, she has gotten to befriend the fellow maknae. You would think by him knowing virtually everything about her, he would be calm...

Seohyun still looked at him with an affectionate smile. It was hard to say no. He just couldn't.

"You've caught me by surprise! I would your marriage to Yonghwa would be enough. I didn't know you could appear again." Eric admitted.

"I thought so too but they reached out to me first. When they mentioned that you were going to be my bridegroom, I was more than ecstatic. I know this is your time here so I will take things slowly. You can count on me oppa!" Seohyun held her hands on his with determination.

"How can I really say no?... I'm so sorry Ailee." Eric apologized as he formally got acquainted with Seohyun.

Today was more laid back, well as laid back as being shoved with a camera 24/7. He had to put his feelings aside for the sake of the show. They started with an informal ceremony where they were at a park and stood next to each other.

"We have in this moment two idols that are in love. Coincidentally both maknaes from the same agency. Love is in the air as they stare at each other's eyes. The sound of their heartbeats are the only ones that should be heard. Though they are quite nervous, through their many dates they will gradually become comfortable to one another. May we bless Seohyun and Eric Nam on their marriage journey. May their love only grow stronger. You may kiss the bride." The "priest" said.

Eric coughed at the last sentence.

"Mianhe... Give me a moment...." Nam kept coughing.

"Do you need water oppa?" Seohyun asked with distress.

"I'm fine! It's just that I wasn't expecting to do a marriage vow so soon. You don't have to do the kiss if you don't want to." Eric said, really wanting to move away from this. Seohyun didn't seem to agree.

"If it makes you better I was also surprised at the suddenly announcement. They sent me a letter as well." Seohyun opened her purse to hand Eric the letter. He urgently read all of its contents to see any consistency.

"So they really threw a curve ball at the both of us... It seems like we don't have a choice." Nam said reluctantly.

"Let's make the best of it oppa. Who knows we might actually be compatible!" Seohyun said with optimism.

Eric felt his stomach tightened. Something about that sentence didn't sit right with him.

"I'm so sorry Ailee... I wish it was you..." Eric thought with reluctance as this new pretend relationship. He did a light pec towards Seohyun before the priest declared their marriage.

"I declare Eric Nam and Seohyun, husband and wife." The priest declared getting the audience to applaud at the new couple. Something about that declaration didn't sit right with Eric. He felt an uneasy churn in his stomach for the rest of the day.
