Chapter 1: Leaving

"Oh honey what is this??" Said one of my best friends Andy while holding up some white lace underwear.

"ANDY!!" I screamed and yanked it out of his hands.

Andy and my other best friend Marissa were helping me pack for Los Angeles. I originally lived Oakland, but my mom and dad were tired of it and decided to move to L.A.

I took the undies Andy held up and put them in my suitcase.

"Hey Kacy do you have everything you need now?" Andy said whining

"Pretty much yea." I smiled back to him

I had packed a couple over sized tees, jeans, leggings, letter man jackets, crop tops, shorts, and of course my two favorite shoes, Nike high tops and converse. My style was pretty laid back I guess.

Andy kept throwing me random things i didn't need.

"Andy I have what I need!!" I smiled and laughed

"Hey don't argue with me Miss. Cooper!" He retorted and stuck out his tongue.

Although I was moving Marissa would be coming with me, but Andy couldn't. He would be going to college and all that jazz. Me and Marissa would miss him but we planned on visiting at Christmas. It was still June so we have a while to go.

Marissa picked up her 2 suitcases off the carpeted floor and drug them downstairs.

"COME ON KACY!!!!" She screamed.

"Ok ok!!" I yelled back laughing.

I picked up my suitcase off the ground, hugged Andy, and went downstairs to join Marissa.

I smoothed my red,plaid oversized shirt and took out my phone to check the time. 1:07.

"Hey Marissa we still have about an hour until we need to go to the airport." I said to her.

"Let's go eat?" Mari suggested.

"Okie!" I yelled and ran out the door to her car.

We arrived at our favorite food place, Panera bread. I ordered a club sandwich and a Sprite. Mari then took her order which was the same as always, a grilled chicken sandwich and a Coke.

We sat down at our booth and looked at some hotels for us to stay in until we find a house.

"How about this one." I asked Mari pointing to a 5 star one on my phone.

"Yea check it out more" She said nodding her head in agreement.

I put its directions into the gps on my phone and turned it off. The waiter presented us with our food. We dug in like hungry dogs because we haven't eaten all day. I was right in the middle of eating the rest of my sandwich when Marissa interrupted me.

"Hey K, its time to leave." Marissa said.

"Aw man I still have half a sandwich left." I whined.

"Sorry, but if you wanna go to L.A., We gotta leave" Mari said while standing up.

"Fine"

We headed out the door and back to her car. She drove off to the city airport and we sang along to some Nicki Minaj and some Rihanna. We got to the airport in at least 30 minutes because we were pretty close. We checked in and all that. I got my ticket and same with Mari. We sat down and waited for our flight.

"Call for Flight number 12 leaves in 5 minutes." The lady on the intercom called.

"That's us" I said to Marissa.

She looked up from her IPhone and headed my way.

We got on our airplane and sat in our seats. I had to sit by an annoying kid that kept asking me annoying questions such as "Wanna play dragon eats girl sitting next to me" or "Your tall, do you have a boyfriend??". He was like nine. I mean the tall parts right I am 5'10. But the boyfriend part was wrong, I was boyfriendless.

Finally the plane ride was over!!! I stretched my arms and legs and stood up finding Mari. I finally found her and told her about the annoying kid.

"Bahahaha Really???" She laughed while holding her stomach.

"Yea, really.." I said while rolling my eyes.

We got our luggage and picked up a cab. I suggested we go and get some Jamba Juice because I figured out there was one here.

The cab took us there and we thanked him while walking up to the glass doors of Jamba Juice. We quickly ordered and walked back to our booth. I suddenly got the strange feeling I was being stared at. I lifted my head up from my phone and looked around. I saw a cute boy and his friend staring at me. They realized I caught them and they turned away.

"Kacy those dudes were staring at you!" Mari whispered.

"Yea I know" I replied while grinning.

The pretty tall one was the one really eyeing me. He had a brown quiff and from what I saw dark brown eyes. His skin was pretty tan. I have to admit he was hot. The other one was shorter and had curly brown/blonde hair. He has brown eyes too. He was pretty tan, and was staring at Marissa. I guess I was staring at them because they were walking over to us. I got a better look at them. They both had tattoos and the tall boy had a SnapBack on. "Hey I'm Kian" The taller one said. "And I'm JC" the curly headed boy said. They both grinned.

Marissa looked at JC and smirked.

"I'm Kacy and this is my friend Marissa." I said while smiling.

"You can call me Mari."

"Well we were wondering if you wanted to maybe, go hang out with us, I know it's kinda forward but.." Kian said.

"Sure we would love to!" Marissa said while grinning like a little kid.

I glared at her like she's crazy.

She was crazy.

I guess we wouldn't be going to that hotel after all.
