That Familiar Face.

Chapter 4 ~ What's hapenning?

Fiona's POV

I opened my eyes,felling numb all over my body,my head was throbbing with pain. I looked around the room and everything was white. The walls to the blankets to the floor!

It sure wasn't my room! So where was I?

Then suddenly the door to this room Burst open and Sally came in.

Oh. Now I realized it was the hospital! It took me a while to figure out.

When Sally looked at me and saw that I was awake she came running towards me.

"Fiona,r u okay?"

"um,yea,don't worry, what happened?"

Her eyes widened but she quickly hid the surprised expression.

"you don't remember?" she questioned me.

I tried to think back to what happened. It took a while then I remembered that I was playing badminton when a soccer ball hit my face and I fell down on the rock,which hit my head then I ended up at the hospital.

" I remember now" I exclaimed with a big smile on my face,but It turned into a frown because of the pain.

"Ohmygod! Thank god,you remember,I thought you were going to loose your memory! and I'm so sorry about this,I really didn't mean for this to happen!"she kept going on.

"oh,that's find... Don't worry about it... My head just hurts a bit..." I trailed off because of the pounding in my head! Ugh. It was killing me!

My eyes started to close as I saw Zack come in the room,with a worried look on his face.

"Fiona honey,you have to go eat,get up please" I recognize as my moms voice.

I opened my eyes feeling much better than before,my head was still hurting but not the pounding like before.

I looked down to my arms and saw needles going through my wrist...

I turned away,I didn't like needles and hospitals,they reminded me of death. I don't know why though.. It just did!

My mom was standing in front of me holding a stay of food and some medicine.

I ate the food and took the medicine. The doctor said I could leave tomorrow since my injury wasn't that bad. I had only gotten a little hurt in my head and if I continue the medicine for a week, I would be better.

Some friends had come to see my in the hospital and brought me chocolates and cupcakes.

It was 7 in the evening when all my visitors had left and I was laying down thinking about Zack...

There's something about him,that I haven't felt with any other boys. I don't know what was happening,it's like every time he just simply looked me at me,my mind would go all crazy! His smile... It is like the most beautiful thing!

Okay Fiona,stop thinking about him! He's your friends older brother I reminded myself.

Okay what the fuck? Am I talking to myself now.

Yes you are stupid. I told my self.

I was so lost day-dreaming and fighting with my mind I hadn't noticed when someone came in.

"hey,Fiona?"

I looked at the person who just came in and almost stopped breathing,My heart was racing soo fast.

Okay seriously,Fiona get a grip of yourself, I told myself once again.

"hey Zack." I smiled shyly at him.

"how are you feeling now?" guilt portraying all over his face.

he was standing by the door and his hands behind his back,as of trying to hide something.

"I'm good now,don't worry about it!"

"I'm really sorry..." he whispered.

"hey! It's fine! Look it's my fault I'm so clumsy!" I assured him.

"no. It was my fault. And I really am sorry,and I kinda brought something for you" he said,walking towards me a bit un-comfortably.

He held out a box with purple wrap.

I just stared at his hands and tried figuring out what it could be.

"hey,aren't you going to take it?"

I blushed and took it!

Okay should I just open it in front of him? Or do I wait and then open it?

Okay whatever Fiona just shut the hell up and open it!

So I started to un-wrap the box.

When I opened it up,i just stared at it! OMG,he got me all of my favorite chocolates,and he got me some roses! How did he know I liked them? And I love flowers too!

"Ohmygod! How did you know I love these!?" I asked him excitedly.

He put his hands through his hair, and said "well,my sister kind of told me"

Oh.obviously Sally would do that, but I can't believe he got me all this.

"Thank you soo much! I love these chocolates!" I told him

"no problem, glad you are happy."

I looked at the flowers,did Sally tell him to get those too?

"did Sally make you get these roses too?"

"what? No,um I got them."

Okay,I think I'm having trouble breathing,No boy in my whole life had ever gotten me flowers,I'm the biggest fan of roses,the boy who was making me feel all weird in the stomach just got me roses!

"thank you again,you really didn't have to do all this! And I Love the flowers!"

"yes,I figured by the way your looking at it." he said with sarcasm in his voice.

His voice is so beautiful too.

Okay Fiona,thats enough. You sound like some creeper.

Okay okay I'll shut up!

Am I talking to my mind again?

Ugh!

"well,I guess I'll leave now,I'll come by tomorrow again."he smiled at me.

That smile! It's so contagious!

I smiled back.

"alright,sure!"

"I'm sorry and bye Fiona"

"it's okay!! How many times do I have to tell you? Okay bye!"

After he left I pick up my favorite chocolate first! Hershey's milk chocolate!

I stuffed my mouth with 3 bars of chocolate then thought of saving the rest for later.

Yes.i know I'm fat! I eat a lot of food!

I put the roses on the jar beside the bed.

then I took out all the chocolates to put them back in nicely.

something at the very bottom of the box caught my eyes.

It was a note.

Out of curiosity I opened it.
