                  -Midoriya pov-

Thinking back, all of this started because of one thing; my quirk. Growing up I had no quirk, because of that I was bullied… It was just another day at school…

                   -Flashback-

“K-Kacchan, ple-please stop! This is going too far!”  Midoriya screamed out in pain.

“Heh, quirkless Deku. Hey, I have an idea, if you really wanna be a hero that badly, there might be another way. Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of the building!” Katsuki Bakugou laughed as he left Midoriya alone on the floor.

Midoriya was breathing heavily, partially because he just got beat up. But mainly because he couldn’t believe what Katsuki had just said. His childhood friend, and now bully, had just told him to commit suicide. He-he’s right. The only way I could get a quirk is if I died. Midoriya thought as he stood up and started to collect his things and walk home.

“Maybe I should…It would be the only way out of the torture chamber that is my life.” Midoriya said to himself on his way home.

“Hey mom! I’m home!” Midoriya shouted walking into the house and into his room.

Hm, I should write mom a letter explaining why and where I’m going to die. Midoriya thought, taking out a piece of paper and a pencil to write his letter with. The letter said:

Dear Inko Midoriya,

I’m sorry for your loss. I couldn’t handle all the stress life has been putting on me lately. This was the only thing I could think of after getting beat up today. You can find my body at the front of ______. I love you and hope to meet you again in my second life.

Your son,

      Izuku Midoriya

Midoriya left the letter, his savings, and a picture of him on the table after dinner. He left right after that, he went to a tall building near his house. He took off his shoes and stood on the ledge of the building.

“Love you mom.” Midoriya said as he leaned forward off the building, plummeting to his death.

“Hm? What’s that?” Eraserhead said, looking at a figure at the ledge of a building. “No!” He said, watching the figure fall.

Eraserhead rushed over to the building the figure jumped off of. He saw the body hit the ground. The person wasn’t fully dead yet it seemed. Eraserhead grabbed the broken, limp body and brought it to the nearest hospital.

“Wh-where am I? Am I dead yet?” Midoriya said, looking around, taking in the dull white area around him.

“No kid, not yet.” Said a tired looking person sitting next to Midoriya.

“Ah! Who are you?” Midoriya said in a panicked voice.

“Relax kid. You’re okay. I’m Eraserhead, and you’re in the hospital.” Eraserhead reassured Midoriya.

Midoriya sighed. “Okay, can you go please. I want to be alone right now.”

“Yeah, sure kid.” Erasure Head left the room.

Midoriya looked around for a window. He spotted a window near a chair in the room.

“Found you.” Midoriya whispered to himself as he stood up from the bed.

Midoriya jumped out the window trying to kill himself again. He couldn’t bear living with the consequences of his own actions. As he was falling he heard a voice calling his name.

“Izuku!”

The voice was coming from his mom. He couldn’t bear to hear her voice at this time. Her words felt like a dagger stabbing through his heart. As he fell to his death he heard someone call out

“Watch out”

Before he could see who said that he blacked out.
