★ this story started in 2021, and then i took it down because i didn't feel a connection to it. i'm honestly really surprised that people still remember it, liked it, and wanted it back. so, now in 2024 (literally three years later which is crazy) i'm putting it back up because i know the pain of a fanfic you like getting taken down, and tbh, i still think about this story a lot. i told my friends "i'd rather write another story about war again than put myself in the mind of a high school student" but well, shoutout to everyone who mourned this for three years, this is dedicated to you
★ i don't really like using the placeholder y/n to refer to readers' names anymore, but this is a comrades spin-off (!!!), where the m/c's name is y/n. i'm not in high school anymore, but it was high school me who came up with this, and i owe it to her to see her vision published even tho she didn't like it LOL
★ further backstory, i took this down because i quickly realized that high school aus tend to be so western-ish, and i just can't relate to that because high school in my culture is way different. people react differently to characterization based on their cultural background, and back in 2021 when hate on wattpad was intense, i wanted to avoid getting hated on for having a non-western perception of teenage life. plus, i felt like i was too old for high school aus. dunno what fate has for this fic but i'm just putting it back out!
★ this is a crack fic lowkey because it started during the comrades era in 2020-2021 and if you were there you know it was a crazy time so pls don't take this too seriously this is an unserious comedy i swear. eren is a loser here but we already knew that. this fic just wants to explore how fun and awkward it is to be a teenager
