I carried my books in my arms, walking over to my locker. Everyone stared at me. The loner. The no body. That was me.
I placed my books into my locker, and closed it, locking it shut. I averted everyone's gazes, and continued to walk ahead to the cafeteria.
You see, No one bothered to be-friend me, not even say hi. I was a shy person, who didn't like to speak much, nor get noticed but I liked it that way.
I hugged my self tightly, squeezing past running teenagers, just about missing them. I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, I turned my head round.
"Erm.. E- excuse me m-miss but d- do you know were the cafeteria is?" A boy around my age, with parted brown silky hair and black geeky glasses looked down at me, suttering. He pushed his glasses back onto his head sniffing.
I smiled "yeah, follow me" he nodded walking beside me. He wore a greeny buttoned shirt, which matched with his grey trousers. He was
Kinda cute... You know one of those geeky cute type people? Him.
He blushed a deep shade of red, and I noticed I'd been staring at him. I mentally slapped myself. I coughed awkwardly. "So... What's your name?" I smiled warmly. He hesitated for a moment. "B-Bryce" he stuttered. Aw,cute! I giggled at his shy ness, which made him turn a deeper shade of red.
"I'm Crystal" I smiled, looking down at my shoes. I herd him cough a little. I looked up to see him with his hand out ready for me to shake it. I giggled again. Shake hands? Even though I found it weird, I still shook it.
Entering the cafeteria, I ordered lunch, Spaghetti Bolognese. Bryce ordered the same. We took our trays and sat down on an empty table.
I stuck my fork into the hot spaghetti and wound it around, before putting it in my mouth. "Mmm!" I Moaned.
"So Bryce....tell me about yourself" I asked, trying to make a convosation.
"My names Bryce Dunham.... I'm from Canada a-and I just moved here" he refused to make eye contact with me.
"Nice, well...my name is Crystal Roberts, I've lived here my whole life" I said eating another spoonful of spaghetti.
"Hey look! It's the new nerd!" I herd someone snigger. Just then the schools dicks- I mean jocks, walked in. I rolled my eyes. "H-hi" Bryce stuttered scratching the back of his head.
"Aw! And look! Hes here with..oh what's your name again?" Kevin mocked. " shut up" I mumbled.
"I'm sorry what was that?" He teased. "Fuck you" I mumbled. "Oh since when did you become a slut eh?" He smirked.
"Don't call her that" Bryce spoke up. The whole cafeteria went silent, everyone listening. "What did you say?" Kevin hissed angrily.
" I-I -I said don't call her that." He stood his ground, putting on a brave face.
" don't tell me what to do pussy!" Kevin barked, making Bryce jump a little. " Bryce, leave it come on." I whispered taking his hand, dropping the lunch tray and quickly exiting the cafeteria.
"Y-you shouldn't let them call you horrible n-names" he said.
"It's fine, just leave it next time ok?" I rubbed his back reassuringly.
He blushed...He seems to do that a lot. I followed to were his eyes were gazing. Oops I was still holding his hand. I quickly let go, putting my hand up my sleeve and going red.
We stood there in an awkward silence for a moment."we'll...I guess I'll see you around?" I coughed awkwardly. "O-ok" he gave a small smile. I waved and walked to my next lesson. English. Blegh.

The bell for last lesson rang, and everyone hurriedly flooded out the class room. I slowly followed behind, putting my books into my bag.
I waked out of the school gates, humming a steady made up rhythm to myself. I pulled my iPod out and decided to listen to some music. " thrift shop" my favourite song played. I grinned with glee, mumbling the words.
"I got 20 dollars in my pocket!" I sung.
I banged into Someone casing my ear phones to fall out. I bent down and picked them back up. " sorry I didn't mea-Bryce?" I asked confused.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't see you" he apologised.
"It's ok... We're are you heading?" I asked, putting my iPod and head phones into my bag, and closing it.
"Home" he smiled. "Me to...we're about do you live?" I smiled back as we continued walking.
" 28 Brooklyn, Avenue" he said. I gasped.
"No. Way! I live at i26Brooklyn Avenue!" I beamed. A massive grin spread across his face "w-were neighbours!" He giggled. I laughed at his cuteness.
We continued to walk down to we're my road was situated, talking about anything we could think of.
"We'll..... Here's my house!" I smiled, lookig up at my big house.
My family were quite rich. well, my mom is. My mom and dad spilt when i was 12.
He smiled back. " good bye Crystal" he waved, as I turned around grinning like a fool, and opened the front door.
