No Mercy?

In 1985 Daniel Larusso beat Johnny Lawrence of Cobra Kai Karate at the under 18 All Valley Tournament, 37 years after Daniel thought that his trauma with Cobra Kai was long done and over with until a new Generation of kids stepped onto the mat under the guidance of Johnny Lawrence.

This year's tournament Cobra Kai stood on top.

The sound of a kick being blocked revealed Miguel Diaz, one of the first students to join Cobra Kai facing another kid who stood in his way to winning this tournament. The kid charged Ivan and went a spinning heel kick which he ducked underneath before sending a heavy punch into his opponents stomach. "Stop! Diaz 3 Points! Winner!"

Maverick got to his feet with a shrug before he tightened the tie that held his hair up in a messy bun, loose hairs dangled against his forehead. Maverick turned to his grounded opponent. "Try to do a flip now." He joked before shaking his head in disappointment.

Eli Moskowits aka Hawk prepared to fight a boy in a blue Gi named Xander who just a bit ago made a whole speech about all humans being able to live in peace... What a pansy

Hawk went for a spinning kick that was blocked by Xander who then tried to counter with his own kick one that Hawk dodged before sending a heavy backfist into Xanders gut. "Stop! 2 Points Hawk!"

.Hawk gave a confident smirk until he saw Xander scoff at him and turn to walk back to his side of the mat this seemed to annoy Hawk as he shoved the referee aside before charging up to Xander and kicked him in the back of his shoulder sending him to the ground.

"Hey no! You're disqualified!" The referee shouted as Hawk let out a scoff before turning to return to his Cobra Kai teammates that remained who were Maverick Blackwell, Ivan Cortez and Miguel Diaz. 

"Wow! We are now in the Semi Finals of this year's under 18 All Valley Tournament! We have only four contestants remaining! Who will go home the winner of tonight's all valley tournament!? Will it be Maverick Blackwell, Ivan Cortez or Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai? Or will it be Robby Keene of Miyagi-Do Karate!?" The crowd erupted into loud cheers.

"We are now in the last semi-finals match before the final! Things are getting exciting! Cobra Kai Karate has already taken out all of its competitors but only one student shall go home this year's All Valley Tournament winner!" The announcer spoke into his microphone to the crowd who cheered loudly.

Even though Cobra Kai has already won this year Maverick would've preferred to fight Keene as he would've enjoyed embarrassing Miyagi-Do Karate and showing the Valley how much of a joke it was compared to Cobra Kai, but this would have to do.

Tonight he had the chance to prove himself to not only his comrades on Cobra Kai but to everyone else in the room that he is not someone to mess with.

Maverick had always viewed his fellow students of Cobra Kai more as competition than as teammates, he's all about proving himself better than anyone no matter the side they were on, even if they were on his own. Nobody had the respect of Maverick Blackwell unless they were equal to him or proved themself better.

"Which of these two boys will continue on to face Ivan Cortez in the final!? Will it be Maverick Blackwell from Cobra Kai Karate? Or will it be Miguel Diaz also from Cobra Kai Karate?" The announcer asked the crowd who all shouted one of the two boys named predicting who will win this match. "I guess we'll just have to find out."

Both boys stepped inside the circle and stood in front of one another, Miguel had an expression of nervousness as Maverick has previously shown he holds nothing back against his opponents, meanwhile Maverick had a smirk across his lips while tightening the strap on the front of his Gi.
