"
Hi. Ngingakusiza ngani?" She tilts her head to the side. I act as if I don't want to stab her to death using my stiletto heel, this big headed girl better get out of my way.
"Uhm... Is Samkelo here?" I fake a smile. "Oh, Samkelo? I'll call him for you. Would you like to come in?" She proposes. "No thank you, I'll just wait out here"
She disappears into the house and I let out a shaky breath. I take deap beaths in and out before calming myself down. "Naledi? Ufunani la?" He stand by the door, with a raised eyebrows.
"Uhm... I-" My words get caught in my throat. "I-I'm sorry... I-I should l-leave" I turn to walk back to my car but he stops me. "I asked you a question" He holds my wrist. "N-Nothing" I stutter.
"You couldn't possibly drive all the way here at this time for nothing" He states. "I-I'll come back later, you clearly have company. I'm sorry for disturbing you" I nervously say. He says nothing, he just drags me towards his car, opens the door and I reluctantly get in.
He closes the door and goes to the other side. "Khuluma" He turns to face me. "It's not that important, honestly..." i mutter. "Anything concerning you is important, we can sit here all day until you tell me"
I look down at my lap, feeling my face heating up. I bite my lower lip, containing my smile from coming out. "I'm waiting" He proclaims. 'I don't know what to say', I intend to say but end up mumbling to myself.
Instead of projecting my words, I lean over to his side, placing my lips on his. He surprisingly grabs onto grabs onto my thighs, carrying me onto his lap. I balance myself on his lap, placing my hands on his chest.
We finally pull away and I shyly look down. He pecks my lips and I look up at him, smiling. My hands find their way onto the sides of his face and I kiss him once again. I pull away, wiping the lip gloss stain from his lips.
We don't say anything, we just stare at each other until his phone rings. He declines the call and I place my head against his chest. "Samkelo" I call out, he hums, staring down at me.
"I thought about what you said and you were right. I need to start putting myself first and stop thinking about what our families want" I breathe out. He remains silent. I look up at him.
"Are you listening?" He nods in response. "I-I like you and Ona was right, you make me happy" I nervously stare at the tattoo on his forearm. "I want to be with you" I add.
He doesn't say anything. I avert my gaze out the window watching the dark sky. I feel his hand snake around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I breath in his intoxicating scent and close my eyes.
His lips bruh against mine, "I'm glad you came to your sense" He mumbles. My eyes snap open and he doesn't give me a chance to respond when his lips meet mine. I smile, pulling away from him. "Once your mine, there's no going back"
I frown, sitting up straight. "What do you mean?". "I want you to meet someone" He ignores my question, opens the door and gently puts me down on the ground. I fix my skirt as he gets out.
He grabs my hand in his, leading me into his house. I tighten my grip around his hand just as he opens the door, letting me go in first. We walk into what seems to be a living room.
"Sima!" He calls out. He sits down on one of the two seater couches, pulling me with him. "What do you want now? I'm not your maid Samkelo, this abuse is getting out of hand" The girl from earlier, walks in complaining.
"Ukhuluma nami kanjalo?" He tilts his head to the side. "Oho, My dearest apologies your royal highness. Ngingakusiza ngani?" She sarcastically asks. "Hlala phansi" He says, annoyed.
She sits down opposite us. "Themba lami, this is my little sister, Simamkele. Sima, Lo ngumfazi wami, Naledi" Askies?! The side eye give him! Moshimane o wa le Zulu wa gafa.
"Whoa, did I miss a chapter or something? umfazi wakho? Yoh, nkosiyam." She laughs. "Kanti ni serious?" She composes herself when she notices that neither of us are laughing.
Samkelo's phone rings and he excuses himself. "Blink twice if he's holding you captive" She whispers. I blink twice, her body freezes. "I'm just joking, I'm willingly here" I wave it off.
"Why? Why do you like him? I'm just stunned, I apologize for the multiple questions" She adds. "I mean, it just happened. Your brother's very persuasive and cute. I couldn't seem to say no" I blush at the thought of him.
"This is just too cute" She beams. "I have to go, I'll be back in two hours" He pecks my cheek before leaving. Sima waits for him to drive off before taking something from under the pillow.
"Is that?-" she cuts me off. "His card? Yes. I'm just using it on his behalf since he barley spends his money. But he doesn't have to know'' She shrugs. "I was in the middle of making dinner, would you like to help me?"
"Yeah sure, why not. So you live here?" We walk into the kitchen. "Me? No, I'm currently in boarding school but I'm thinking of moving back this side for my final year, I'm just here to visit. I'll be going back to my parents house in a few hours" I nod, listening to her as she speaks.

"I'll see you around. Bye Entle" She waves, walking towards a white mini cooper parked in the garage. I lock the door and head up to the room I stayed in when he brought me here.I strip of my clothes and take a shower and skim through his closet for something to wear before getting into bed and letting sleep take over me.
"Themba lami" I'm woken up by kisses being placed all over my face. "Mhm?" I groan, pushing his face away. "Hhayi marn, Samkelo. It's late, ke nyaka go robala" I protest.
He gets into bed, wrapping his arms around me. I places my head on his chest with my eyes still closed. He pecks my forehead twice and I'm off to dreamland once again, but this time I'm in his arms.
I'm finally putting myself first.
