Part of the cool timeline

..

Hwangmo laughed, tipping back his head, simply enjoying the company of his few friends. Grape and Eunchan laughed too, back, because the orange haired boy always had great stories. Jack rolled his eyes at the stupid parts of them. A couple months back, they'd consist of crazy things Wolf had done, now, they were about other people, other schools, things he'd 'just so happened' to have witnessed. His friends didn't seem to notice the change.

"Yeah and then-" Began the youth, though, he was promptly cut of by the vibration of his phone. "One sec.." Hwangmo hummed, turning his attention to the new notification.

WOLF: Can you call for thirty seconds?

HWANGMO: Yeah

A moment later his phone's vibrations increased exponentially, and without a second thought the other answered. "What's up?" Hwangmo asked Wolf casually, in a way he never would've in his entire life until just recently. However, things change.

"Do you buy boys flowers?"

"Yes."

"Okay. Thanks."

It was a little funny to the orange-haired boy, how he could've said all that in a five word text. Though, he obviously wouldn't, as to not leave any screenshottable proof that he had a heart or humanity in general. Hwangmo wasn't entirely sure how he became the middle-man in this relationship between Gray and Wolf. Or if what he was, actually was a middle-man...

Alex had disgruntledly called him the two's child too many times. He was certain it was getting to him at this point.

Hwangmo laughed to himself a little as he lowered the phone from his head, oblivious to the newcomers approaching him from behind. "Who was it?" Asked Grape harmlessly, as if it wasn't the one person in the world he despised the most.

"Just Wolf," He shrugged back. When Wolf started running with Eunjang, Hwangmo had at first, wondered if that was it for him. If he'd be left out in the cold, alone, to deal with Ganghak's issues. Having the reputation of 'Wolf Keum's lackey' wouldn't help him out. However, when the other would begin his walk to Eunjang in the afternoons, he'd tip his head back over his shoulder and ask a simple, yet comforting question, 'Are you coming?'

The others visibly shrunk back into their seat from this, and the newcomers laughed a little, startling the boy who'd just been on call, "Just Wolf, he says," Mocked Jimmy, making a little motion with his hand, signifying that it'd come time that he picked up Jack. The black-haired boy took notice, and began to gather himself, bidding little goodbyes to his friends.

"Since when was it 'just Wolf'?" Asked Jake, beaming eye to eye as usual. He was a perpetual; light in the lives of those around him. Yet, even if he had the option, Hwangmo wouldn't, not even during the worst of the Union days, have switched to the Daehyeon branch, or worked directly under Jake Ji.

"Oh," Hwangmo smiled, bringing a palm up to touch the back of his neck, "I mean, it's just him, we're cool now and all you know?"

Jimmy laughed hard, waving for Jack to forget their previous plans, and taking a seat at the other's table. Jake and Dean did the same, Dean was reluctant, though would follow after Jake. "I have to hear this one," Laughed the Yoosun head, "You're cool and all?" He made broad gestures with his hands as he spoke.

The Ganghak boy nodded, "Yeah, he's real manageable nowadays,"

"Poor Hwangmo," Jake faked a pouty face, "Always having to deal with Wolf and his bullshit, real talk, you've always been the one managing Ganghak's affairs..."
