The beginning to our love story

Gideon being 5 years into her relationship with mark, things started complicated and rocky so she calls Jenna to confide in her

Gideon "hi Jen, are you busy?"

Jenna "no, what's up baby girl. You good?"

Gideon "I'm not, it's mark again. Can we go to bar the dim lounge downtown we always go to, because I need to get out the house for a while"

Jenna "yeah sure, I'll pick up you. Be ready in 20"

Gideon "okay see you soon"

Jenna goes and picks up Gideon and they drive to the lounge and have a drink while they talk

Jenna "so what's been going on with you and mark?"

Gideon "I just feel like he doesn't care anymore about our relationship, he's just not the same person I met"

Jenna "when was the last time you guys went on  date or slept together"

Gideon "it's been 2 years, and he claims because he's been too busy with work or he's just tired"

Jenna "do you think there's some else"

Gideon "I don't know, I'm just tired of trying to keep this relationship going and pretending to be happy"

Jenna "have you talked to him about how you're feeling, because I know you aren't the best at expressing emotions unless it's with me"

Gideon "that's the thing, I have. I told him how I felt and he makes it seem like overreacting"

Jenna "have you ever mentioned marriage to him"

Gideon "I did in past, he never seems too big on it. Jenna I'm trying to make it work, I love him I do. I just don't wanna force something to keep going when it's not the same anymore"

Jenna "how about to talk to him again tomorrow or whenever he's home because 2 years is a long time to not have a date or sleep with your partner"

Gideon "that's what im saying, I have needs.  This motherfucker wanna play games with me like we haven't been together for 5 years, and hasn't once asked to marry me"

Jenna "if I was with someone for that long and they didn't take me or even wanna slept with me I would've lost my mind"

Gideon "do you see why I'm upset, because it doesn't make sense to stay with someone if you haven't did anything. That makes me think he isn't even sexually attracted to me or love me anymore"

Jenna "I don't think he doesn't not love you, It's something because 2 years is crazy the more I think about"

Gideon "I'm just gonna see what happens, and try to make it work. You know you're the only person I like, shit you're better than mark with how you treat me and we're just best friends, I should've dated you instead I know would've been happier"

Jenna "hahaha well I wouldn't go 2 years without making you feel loved I can you tell that much"

Gideon "I don't get how you're still single"

Jenna "because not even wants a real relationship anymore. I'm a hopeless romantic, people want something short term. I want marriage and more.

Gideon "and more??"

Jenna "yeah haha, being married and having kids and being in love"

Gideon "damn that sounds nice to have, maybe one day we'll get to have that"

Waitress "can I get you two more drinks?"

Gideon "yeah I have 5 more of shots of Hennessy and 2 Long Island ice teas"
