Chapter 4 - Unconscious Gael

Right after hoping that police will come, Adria said, "No police can stop me Gael." Then laughed at us feeling that she can kill me anytime she wants and threaten my friends.

Luckily, the police came. Adria's face stiffened when she heard the police, panic can be seen on her face, "I-I can't do this to my classmates, o-officer!"

We knew Adria was acting. She can be two-faced sometimes.

"Kneel!" The police shouted at her, threatening her by pointing the officer's gun at her. Thank God I'm safe!

Before she put her hands up, she screamed and hit my head with the gun's handle.

The last thing I saw was that my friends tried to save me from my fall, but I went unconscious. I said to myself,

"Is this the end? Did I deserve this?' Right after I went unconscious, feeling like I'm dead, and worthless."

I woke up with a bandage on my head, and still weak.

"GAEL! You're back!" They tightly hugged me like I came back from dead.

Ahkirro said that "you were on a long coma for about 3 weeks." To me.

"Yea?" I said and chuckled. I was happy that I came back. Same with Ahkirro and Grena.

I asked, "What happened to Adria?"

They said, "She escaped from us will you were unconscious and hasn't been attending classes since you went unconscious."

"Really?" I shouted and questioned them.

"Really. Looks like she's planning with another threat or even murder soon." Ahkirro spoke.

So that means Adria hid for exactly 3 weeks after she made me feel unconscious?

"I've heard enough of Adria after all she did to me. She's a murderer!" I said to my friends.

"After you went unconscious, we stopped our mission." Ahkirro respond with his reason why they stopped their mission as detectives.

"Things have been hard lately Gael. Without you, our investigation went hard! We don't even know what to do!" Grena spoke.

"We love you Gael, that's why we stopped doing our mission." Ahkirro said after Grena spoke.

"Thank you for waiting for me before I woke up from my coma." I thanked them.

Imagine? True and real friends will wait for you even if it's long or short. You have a special place in their hearts.

"I'm feeling fine now. We should get going." I told them.

"You still need 2 days to get out of the Hospital. Your head hasn't fully recovered yet. You might feel okay, but your head isn't" Grena said to me.

"Alright then." I said and patiently wait until I'm fine to go.

After our conversation, a nurse came to our room saying "Good morning! I see Sir Gael is awake from his coma. Quick reminder too, Sir Gael can leave this hospital after 2 days to make sure you're good to go."

Before the nurse left, she said, "Oh! I need to go! Stay safe you three!"

As she left our room, we opened our TV.

"We should check out what's the latest on the news." Ahkirro said after turning on the TV.

News came. Telling that, "A minor which is one of the youngest criminals has not been seen after 3 weeks of holding hostage and bumping into a car. "Ria" is her fake name and yet, she still hasn't been found by the cops. If you have seen her, please call 0969-2222." A short report about Adria. Me and the 2 detectives saved the phone number, in case we found her.

"Finally, they've mentioned that murderer's crime. I've been waiting for that since you went through a coma." Grena said.

"Yea! We've been waiting for it!" Ahkirro agreed with Grena.

Adria has really come that far. She was about to murder me... I will not forget that!

After 4 hours of telling stories and developing each other, Ahkirro said something randomly, "Gael, you've been hiding something to us."

"I am not hiding something Ahkirro, what do you mean?" I asked.

Then, Ahkirro asked out of nowhere, "Who is your crush?"

I felt my face blush as he asked that question. It was the most random thing he can ask to me as of everything that had happened these past few weeks.

"No one. I haven't got any interest in someone to be honest. I'd rather prioritize on reaching my dream." I said while I gaslight myself. I've gained feelings for Grena from the start ever since we were in primary school and until now.... I was scared that she would reject me. I hate getting rejected and I didn't want our friendship to go to waste after everything, so I lied and kept my feelings for myself.

"You're probably lying! You were blushing!" Ahkirro said leaning his face on me.

"Uhm, no I'm not! as if I would fall in love with someone! That's disgusting" I continued to gaslight myself as I wanted to keep it a secret.

"You probably like me, do you!?" He said while assuming.

"Yuck! Not you!" I pushed him so hard, Grena laughed.

"Wait! You said not me!? So, there is someone!?" Ahkirro spoke in an interested tone.

"Fine! I like someone! I'm not going to tell you though." I spoke.

The nurses came to take Gael to the Ultrasound room to check his skull for damage after the incident.

"Hello sir, Good Afternoon, we need to take cranial ultrasounds to check the condition of your brain." The nurses said while helping me transfer to a wheelchair to go to the ultrasound room. My friends could only wait outside since they are not allowed to go with me. As the doctor continued with the procedure with a face that looks concerned and as if there was something wrong after the procedure this is the time, we would hear the results as the doctor looked in the monitor, he asked the nurses to see my medical history to see if something like this has happened before. He then looks at me spoke "Mr. Larios I have the results in my hand over here and...
