I put on my church outfit before heading to Steve's room. Every day before I wake him up, I can't help but watch him sleep a little. He's just so peaceful. I walk over to him.

"Steve, you need to wake up."

I softly say while shaking him a bit. He opens his eyes.

"Get ready for church buddy. Be ready by 7:20."

"Okay."

He rubs his eyes and slowly gets out of bed. I leave his room.

*Church*

I get out the car but notice Steve isn't behind me. He sits in the car. I open the car door confused.

"Are you going to get out the car?"

"N-no."

"Why not? Come on kid."

"Can we sit far away from the stage?"

"Yeah, why though?"

He points to his ears. He has hearing aids.

"My dad would force me to sit in front of a church when I did something wrong. My ears would ring."

"We can sit in the far back. Don't worry about it."

I reach my hand out to show him my promise. He takes my hand and I walk him into the building, we sit in the back

We return home from shopping and getting lunch. He's really happy.

"That was fun! This whole week has been fun!"

"I know Steve."

I say sadly. He has to return home but how can I tell him? I'll break his heart.

"What's wrong? We had a bunch of good days."

He says in a confused tone.

"You have to go home."

His smile instantly drops.

"What?.... Wh-why?"

"I'm sorry. My girlfriend doesn't like children. She won't even let me have you around."

"How long until she gets back?"

"Around 3."

"Thats perfect timing. I can take everything you gave me and put it in my closet. My dad won't even notice my new clothes."

"We should start packing it now?"

"Yeah, he's at work right now."

"Alright let's go."

We grab all the clothes and load them into my car before driving down to the apartment houses. We go to his house and take all the bags out in one trip. Our fingers red as hell. His house is clean, but beer bottles and overflowing trash is found. The walls could definitely be cleaned. Holes are also in some walls. We go to his room and start to organize the clothes. We get rid of all the old small clothes. We fill his drawers and closet with new clean clothes.

"Thank you, Tyler."

"Of course."

Steve goes to his sister room. I walk behind him. A nanny and his disabled sister are watching tv.

"Steve! Where have you been?"

The nanny hugs him tightly.

"I was with Tyler. I told you about him."
