In a kingdom far away, the Crystal Elves lived among the rarest elves in history. They resided in a secluded region surrounded by towering mountains, shielding them from the prying eyes of outsiders. The Crystal Elves possessed a magical artifact known as the Threshold Crystal, which granted them access to a mystical portal, their key to traversing realms.
"Father Haw, how did you manage to gain entry? You're a human," someone inquired.
"Well, that is a tale for another time," Father Haw replied cryptically.
As the Crystal Elves flourished in their secluded enclaves, their peaceful existence was shattered when unforeseen events unfolded. Human forces, driven by curiosity or greed, discovered the whereabouts of the Crystal Elves and sought to claim them for their own. In a desperate bid to protect themselves, the Crystal Elves sealed off their magical portal, hoping to safeguard their way of life from the encroaching threat.
As the Crystal Elves lived in peace, the king passed away, and his son ascended to the throne. A few years passed, and he had two daters the ledes named Jole and the second name is Jane The eldest, named Joul, and the younger sister, Jian, grew up happily together. By the age of six, Joul could name all of the kingdoms, and by nine, she could recite them well. Meanwhile, Jian was learning how to shoot a bow. Their mother taught them all they needed to know.
"Come on, Jain, you can do it. Just aim for that apple right there," their mother encouraged.
"Yes, Mother," Jain replied, focusing on her target.
Then she shot the arrow, hitting the bullseye. "Well done, Jain," their mother praised. "And Joul, how are your skills developing?" "They are even better, Mother," Joul replied confidently. As she got her sword out
Jole started to show her mother and her sister her skills.
"Go, Jole, you're doing great," Jane said, cheering on her big sister.
"Well done, Jole, you've gotten even better like you said," added their mother.
"Thank you, Mother, and Jane, you did well," Jole replied.
"Well, girls, I think we need to get back to the castle," their mother suggested.
"Yes, Mother," they both said in unison. As they got to the castle, they heard someone coming.
"And where have you three been?" the King said.
"Well, I was teaching them how to use Crystal Magic," the Queen replied.
"Well, Jane was supposed to come and get her studies done for the day, and Jole was supposed to read the Crystal Law book," the King retorted.
"I read it 200 times, Father. Jane didn't even read it once," Jole defended.
"Hey, I did too," Jane protested.
"Okay, girls, off to bed," the Queen interjected.
"Good night, Mother and Father," they both chimed.
"You need to stop going off, and they do need to know all of this. Jole will be queen one day, you know that," the King reminded the Queen.
"Yes, and Jane will be queen of another kingdom. I know, but they are still little girls," the Queen acknowledged. "Well, are you going to tell them a story?"
"Good night, my King."
"Good night, my Queen."
She went to tell her daughters a story. She saw that Jane and Jole were ready for the story.
"Okay, girls, are you two ready?"
"Yes, we are, Mother."
