FAUNA had slowly accepted the fate of her first love. She was intelligent enough to know that this was just a phase and she would totally forget about it. Nagawa naman niya ng dahan-dahan ilang buwan bago ang kanyang eighteenth birthday.

Masaya siyang nakalimutan na niya ng dahan-dahan ang lalaki. Not totally erased the feeling, but there was the acceptance that they wouldn't be together in the future. But Dash would remain her first love and crush. He was imprinted in her mind and had carved a little space in her heart.

Pinabayaan niyang ganoon hanggang sa naging masaya siya at unti-unting nagkagusto sa iba. Not the admiration like before because she couldn't even write poems now. Hindi niya alam kung phase din ba iyong pagkawala ng gana niya sa pagsusulat.

Everyone became a poet when in love. She believed she was in love with one of her brother's friend. Si Diego. Una niyang nakita ang lalaki nang dinala ito ng Kuya niya sa bahay two months ago.

As the last dance went on, she forced herself to believe that she was in love. She wasn't, but this was her only way to divert her mind. Make everyone believe that she was fascinated by this man. Because her brother...there was now a little gap between her brother and her. Nadismaya yata ang kanyang Kuya sa kanya.

She had been in love with his bestfriend.

Fauna stared at his eyes. She couldn't compared them with the moon and stars. Hindi pwedeng ganoon dahil mayroon na siyang naipangako sa buwan at mga tala.

The party went on with dances after the main program. Nandito halos iyong mga kaklase niya at iyong mga kaibigan ng kanyang mga kapatid. Nakisaya siya dahil kaarawan naman niya. She freaking hated herself for feeling the loneliness despite these grand event.

Maganda ang takbo ng selebrasyon. She was in deep gratitude with her parents and family...especially her brother who had made the guest entertained with his special speech during the dinner.

Dapat niyang magsaya...pero sa ganoon ding pagkakataon, gusto niyang umiyak kasi hindi niya nakita ang gusto niyang mahawakan sa araw na ito.

She was thankful, truly thankful for everything tonight.

Pero masama bang maghagad sa taong gusto niyang kalimutan pero ayaw talaga ng puso? Her heart was the only victor in this battle. She couldn't do anything about it.

Her classmates brought her to a cocktail bar just few blocks away from the resort. Limang shots lang ng vodka ang nainom niya dahil papagalitan siya ng kanyang Kuya kapag nagtagal dito. Pinayagan nga lang siya dahil nandito si Minty. Minty didn't drink because her brother said Minty should guard Fauna.

Nauna silang bumalik ni Minty sa resort at iniwan ang mga classmates niya doon dahil gusto namang magpaiwan ng mga ito. Some of them were eighteen and others were nineteen so kaya na ng mga ito ang mga sarili.
