Chapter 18: Who is She To You?

After Kate waited for hours, then she saw a car drove in she stood up from bed and thought 'at long last his back'  she went down the stairs and her eyes widened in shock 'Travis was with her' she thought as she clenched her fist slowly until her knuckles were white. But she just let out a deep breath and continued coming down the stairs, Catalina's eyes was so widened in shock then she gave Travis a hard glare "what the hell Travis? What's she doing here?" Kate who was busy staring at Travis giving him a questionable look while he was giving her a furious glare. "Who is she to  you?" Both Ladies asked at the same time "excuse me Kate,but I don't know who you are to Travis but maybe it's  time you live now" Catalina said now getting furious.
     "Catalina whatever you're thinking it might be true but just tell your so called sugar daddy or boyfriend, to let me go okay course I don't want to spend another hour here".
      "Travis, Travis you aren't saying anything" Catalina asked, she couldn't believe what she just heard from Travis "get out" he said harshly, "Travis are...are you telling me to live" Catalina tried her best not to stammer but she was heartbroken "or do you want the guard to throw you out" he said as his gaze was still fixed on Kate.
     Catalina couldn't stand the embarrassment so she left giving Kate a hard glare, Kate was shocked at Travis sudden reaction then Kate felt a sharp pain on her wrist, Travis was pulling her upstairs "Travis you...you're hurting me please stop" she said trying hard for him to release his hard grip, he threw Kate on the bed then slammed the door behind him.
       "Travis what's your problem? Can't you understand I don't love you and I want us to cancel the contract am in love with Ken and not  you" Kate was surprise because instead of Travis to say something he laughed wickedly.
   "Have you forgotten you signed the contract that day Kate, so you're gonna be stuck with me till the year ends or let say forever" he said with a grin on his face.
   "Never! You don't own me Travis I make the decision on who I want to spend my life with, you're not my husband or my parents, listen to me you're just my so called contract husband" she said with teary eyes.
    "You're my fiancée or let's just put it this way soon to be wife hehehe" Kate was shocked what do he mean future wife she thought.
    "On Sunday we are getting married so get ready and don't think of running off again".
    "Am not going to get married to you never will I, I don't belong to you"Kate couldn't hold back her tears any longer.
      "Well now you belong to me, and don't you ever in your miserable life run away with that bastard or I'll kill you and him also, so you both could meet in hell".
Travis yelled at Kate and she was terrified "and I don't want my parents or my sister to hear about this, you could lie to them if you want but I don't care" Travis said and walked out and slammed the door wildly and Kate received a shudders down her spine.
    "Travis you're a monster, I hate you so much, now my heart is aching so much now, the life I wanted for myself was never like what am experiencing right now it's all shattered into pieces" she sobbed for a long time then took a deep breath and wiped her tears. Kate entered the bathroom and freshened up then came out and took a light pajamas and put it on and played on the bed thinking about her awful wedding on Sunday which she never wanted accepted on how it's going to be before sleep took over her.
          Later that night Travis came to the room and saw Kate sleeping on the bed without covering the sheets, he smiled at his childish wife's behavior and took the sheet then covered her warmly not wanting to wake her up. The problem is Travis is still in love with his ex,Catalina but he doesn't know why his heart only beat rapidly anytime Kate is with him, when she ran off with ken he felt his world crumbling, he was restless, all through his mind was full of Kate he couldn't stop thinking about her sometimes he'll wonder to himself what this woman has done to him. Travis doesn't know if he should follow his heart or his feelings.
   

   Please any idea who Travis could end up with is it Kate comment and give reasons and if its Catalina give reasons🙂
