"Reggie! Craig!" A voice called out to us as soon as we exited the building. Craig and I looked around and saw a blonde woman walking in our direction. Aunt Sage. I waved and Craig shouted to her.

"Hey aunt Sage!" He shouted. We walked over to her and she pulled us both into her arms.

"I've missed you two poppets!" Sage exclaimed, squeezing us.

"Puppets?" Craig said. "I'm not a puppet."

"Neither am I." I said. Aunt Sage pulled away.

"No, no. Not a puppet. A poppet! That's what we call children." Sage explained. "Sometimes." She looked around, still smiling. "Well, I've gotta get back to my pub. So if you wouldn't mind, we better get going!" She picked up my luggage and we followed her.

She lead us four blocks away to a parking lot. "My car is over here in this car park." She said. I looked at Craig. He was giving me the same exact look as if to say "what is she talking about?"

I shook my head. "Aunt Sage, where is your car?" I asked. She looked back at us.

"Just call me Sage." She said, smiling. "And my car is just over here." She started walking again and Craig and I followed. We came up to Sage's car and she unlocked it. "Throw your bags in the boot. And hop in the back." She said.

"The... Boot?" Craig repeated. Sage smacked her hand against her forehead.

"My apologies! I forgot you two don't know British slang!" She said. "The trunk. Put your bags in the trunk." Sage laughed and popped it open for us.

As Craig and I put our luggage in the back, Sage laughed. "If you ever don't understand what I'm saying, just let me know and I'll rephrase it!" She said. Craig went over to the opposite side of the car and got in. I got in on my side and Sage climbed in the front seat. Which was on...my side of the car? The right side?

"Sage, this car is..." I paused. We are in England. Its backwards.

"What Reggie?" Sage asked, putting the car in reverse.

"Nothing." I replied. "I forgot we were in England." Craig laughed out loud.

"Idiot!" He chuckled. Sage chuckled too. I looked away.

"Shut up..." I mumbled. Sage drove away from the parking lot. We were silent for the rest of the drive, which lasted only five minutes.

Sage pulled her car into the lot behind a building. Then she turned it off and got out. "Come on! We're here!" She cheered. Craig and I got out of the car and went to get our luggage from the trunk.

"Wow. What a dump!" Craig said. Sage slapped him.

"Excuse me, lad. I live here!" She said, annoyed.

"Sorry." Craig muttered. I looked around. The building that we were behind wasn't that bad. It was just old.

"Craig, this place is pretty neat. Let's check it out." I said. Sage clapped her hands.

"That's the spirit!" She said. She walked over to the door of the building and opened it. "Just go right up the stairs to my apartment. I've got to have a wee chat with one of my workers." She said.

Craig and I walked past Sage and up the stairs. Her apartment was very clean, but very small. We came into the living room and kitchen, which were one room together.

There was a hallway down the middle of the apartment. "I'm guessing the bedrooms and bathroom are down there." Craig said. "Let's take a look see."

I followed Craig down the hallway and sure enough, we found the three bedroom and bathroom. The biggest bedroom had a king size bed, a vanity, and a huge walk in closet with a dresser in it. That was Sage's room. The next largest room had a queen size bed, a big dresser, and a closet.

"Hahaha... I call it!" Craig shouted. I rolled my eyes and peeked into the tiny room. It had a full size bed, a dresser, and a small desk with a chair. Good enough for me.

I set my two suitcases and my backpack on the bed. Then I opened one suitcase and started putting my clothes in the drawers of the dresser. After that, I opened the other suitcase, the one that contained my books, CDs, CD player, and some DVDs, and put all of that in the desk.

Finally, I took my drawing pad and utensils, bathroom set, and glasses case out of my backpack and put them on the desk too. As I took the bathroom set into the bathroom, Sage walked down the hallway.

"Reggie? What are you doing?" She asked. "I thought you'd take the bigger room." I shook my head.

"I prefer smaller anyways." I said. Sage raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I guess if you like it..." She said quietly. Then she went into Craig's room. I went into the bathroom and put my stuff away. The bathroom was just as big as my room. It had a sink, toilet, cupboard, and shower-tub combo. Nice.

"Reggie, could you come here please?" Sage called.

"Coming!" I replied. I walked quickly back down the hallway to where the kitchen was. Sage was standing with Craig and another guy. The guy had dyed black hair. It was really really black hair.

"Reggie, this is Anthony. He is the landlord here." Sage said. "Or the manager." She added. The guy reached his hand out to me.

"Hello, love." He greeted. I took his hand and shook it. Did he just call me love?

"Its uh... Nice to meet you. I'm Reggie." I said. Anthony nodded and smiled. Craig groaned. I shot a glare at him.

"Now, Anthony, why don't you have Flora make some pot noodles for supper?" Sage asked. Anthony nodded to Sage.

"I'll do that now, miss." Anthony said, walking back downstairs. Sage looked over at Craig and I.

"Flora is our cook, you see." Sage explained. "And tomorrow, you two will start working. Craig, you'll be a barman and help Flora in the kitchen. And Reggie, you'll be a barmaid and assist Anthony with keeping the pub tidy." I stared at Sage.

"We get to start already?" I said. Sage nodded.

"Tomorrow. Bright and early." Sage said. "But for now, let's get you settled."
